Abdul Hakkeem was born at Thonnakkal in Thiruvananthapuram. Brought up in an Orthodox Muslim Family, he later came to Christ in the year 1975 by reading a Gospel tract. He surrendered his life to the cause of Christ, especially in the field of Evangelism through literature. After undergoing a Theological training from Christian Bible College at Tiruvalla.

He ministered His word in various parts of India and abroad. Since 1979 he lives at Manjeri. He started the Ministry " NUR UL ALAM" which means" Light of the World" in 1980. The major activities of his ministries are publication of selected Christian literatures and Assembly work, and counseling for youths and other peoples. He is married and has three children. He is the author of many books, "On the way of the Cross", "Anti-Christ", " The Holy Trinity", :Christian Response Muslim objections", " HOLY LAND", "The Person of Christ" etc;....
