What is a cold sore?: A cold sore is a virus in the body commonly know as Herpes Simplex 1. It is passed from persons by kissing or mouth fluids. it currently does not have a cure but some great medications for control.

   Approximately 40 million people are effected by cold sores each year.
   Cold sores generally appear around the mouth and on the lips.

   Factors that can activate a cold sore:

infections (i.e. colds)
over exposure to sunlight
fever
sugars
stress
fatigue
hormonal changes,

  The symptoms and stages of cold sores:

1) Tingling discomfort or itching
2) Redness and swelling
3) Eruption of lesion,
4) Oozing of lesion
5) Lesion dries and forms a thin yellowish scab.

Cold sores generally heal on their own within 8-10 days. With the following remedy it should cut the time in half to 4-5 day with a noticeable difference in 3 days.

The Remedy *: Buy a Bottle of L-Lysine (500mg). L-Lysine is necessary for production of antibodies, hormones and enzymes for which it is an amino acid that plays a key role in the make-up of body proteins.

 1st Day: Use 2000mg of L-Lysine in the morning or all by noon. Eat plenty of food and water before consuming. By Night the itchiness and swelling will have gone down.

2nd Day: Use 1500mg of L-Lysine staggered throughout the day. By 48 hours the blister or bubble most frequently seen in the sore should be dried up.

3rd Day:  Use 2000mg of L-Lysine staggered throughout the day. By 72 hours the redness, swelling, blistering and healing should have occurred. Please consult a physician again if Cold Sore persist.
