Marketing Executive Brings Successful Track Record of Spearheading High-Impact Marketing Programs for Fast Growth Technology Companies

LOWELL, Mass., January 6, 1999 – OrderTrust, the leading order processing network, today announced the appointment of Wendy Wheeler to the position of vice president of marketing. Wheeler previously drove the marketing efforts for PictureTel Corp. (NASDAQ: PCTL), during its high growth stages when the company grew from $75 million to $500 million. As vice president of marketing at OrderTrust, Wheeler will direct all of OrderTrust's internal and external marketing and communications programs including segment marketing, product marketing, demand generation and communications.

Wheeler previously spent six years at PictureTel Corp., a global leader in videoconferencing systems, where she served as the vice president of worldwide field marketing and vice president of marketing, Americas. Her responsibilities included the development of vast channel and industry marketing programs along with product support, sales education and customer briefing programs. She oversaw a staff of 50 people and budget of $12 million. In particular, her development of alternate distribution channels led to the increase of reseller contribution from 20 to 80 percent of total revenue within six years.

Prior to her position at PictureTel, Wheeler was the vice president of marketing services at Wavefront Technologies, Inc., a 3D animation, visualization and multimedia solutions software provider in California. In this role, she managed marketing communications, advertising, press relations and trade shows. In addition, she has held other senior marketing positions at Xyvision, Inc. and Prime Computer, Inc. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Language and Literature from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
