CableSoft provides the interactive cable television "portal" which will be the catalyst to migrate the traditional television viewer from analog through digital and ultimately into the cable operators’ high speed Internet environment. CableSoft’s suite of information "channels" enables consumers to search and retrieve current, customized information through their TV sets using their remote control. CableSoft will also introduce e-commerce applications. Customers will be able to order books and CD’s directly from the retailer using their TV remote control. These home shopping applications combine both the ease of use and convenience of television home shopping with the interactive selection, order entry and on-line availability and functionality features provided by internet retailers.

OVERVIEW OF PRODUCTS/SERVICES

CableSoft works on all manufacturer platforms including General Instrument, Scientific-Atlanta and Pioneer, and with the Personal Java, HTML, Windows CE and WINK ICAP technology platforms. These interactive cable channels include real-time local community information including weather, traffic, sports, lottery, local entertainment and community listings, as well as access to classified advertisements and yellow page listings. CableSoft will also provide the cable operator the opportunity to offer e-commerce based applications to their customers, such as books and CDs.
