Click...click..click..click..click...the coaster climbs up the hill. The pinnacle of the adventure you're embarking on looms above you. Then, in an instant, the car plunges downward into an abyss of laughter and squeals of delight before twisting and turning you in every which direction. Ah...the feeling of a good roller coaster.
I LOVE Rollercoasters! Since my first experience on the Phoenix at Knoebels Grove when I was six, my facisnation has grown tremendously. I have been to numerous "coaster kingdoms" (a.k.a. amusement parks) and I have ridden nearly every roller coaster at each park I've visited. Nothing beats the thrill of plunging downward or being spun upside down. :)
Parks I've been to and coasters I've ridden:
Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virgina
- Drachen Fire
- Loch Ness Monster
- Big Bad Wolf
Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio
- Mantis-The first standup coaster I've ever ridden! My absolute all time favorite coaster!
- Raptor-My favorite of all the inverted coasters I've ridden.
- MeanStreak
- Disastor Transport-My favorite indoor coaster
- Magnum XL-200
- Iron Dragon
- Gemini- This was cool because it's two coasters racing.
- Corkscrew
- WildCat
Dorney Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania
Hershey Park, Hershey, Pennsylvania
- Sooperdooperlooper
- Great Bear- I loved it! Rode it four times in one day! I got the front seat in the dark!
- Comet
- Sidewinder
- Trailblazer
- The WildCat-So much faster at night!
Knoebels, Elysburg, Pennsylvania
- Phoenix-My first roller coaster and favorite wooden coaster ever!
- Whirlwind
Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey
- Batman The Ride-My first inverted coaster
- Skull Mountain
- Viper
- The Great American Scream Machine
I plan to ride new coasters and reride old coasters as long as I possibley can. I love the thrill and excitement that comes with each ride. If you share in my thrill for coasters, you can email me at [email protected]
