Meet a Martian with a mission
Marvin lives on the planet mars and uses his spaceship, the Marvin Maggot to travel throughout the galaxy. He has a pet dog respectfully named K9. This Martian has one goal in life, to blow up the planet earth with his lludium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator. You see, the planet Earth blocks his view of Venus.
Marvin's Film Career
Despite his popularity, Marvin the Martian has appeared in very few films throughout the years. In 1948 he made his debut in "Haredevil Hare." This also featured the well-known Bugs Bunny. He reappeared in 1952 also with Bugs in the feature, "The Hasty Hare." The following year, Marvin could be seen in "Duck Dodgers in the 24 and a 1/2th Century" with Daffy Duck. He later appeared in two more films with Bugs Bunny, "Hare-Way to the stars" in 1958 and "Mad as Mars Hare" in 1963.
Marvin's career remained quiet until recently. He has made appearance in Tiny Toons and The Simpsons. Along with this, Marvin the Martian played a significant role in the 1996 cartoon hit, "Space Jam."

Marvin the Martian will celebrate his 50th birthday in late July. Warner Brothers plans to celebrate the Martian's birthday with several promotions this fall. Happy Birthday Marvin!
