This is the entire dance group that performed for us during our brief stop on the Blue Lagoon Cruise to the village of Nacula. They are wearing traditional masi (bark cloth), with added decoration of leaves and flowers. The dance is performed with rhythmic movements that are timed to the beating of lalis (wooden gong-like drums), and hollow bamboo poles. |
