If you want some coconut milk to drink, and aren't near a store, what do you do? In this case, two of the locals simply climbed up a tree, with a machete in his mouth, and dropped a whole bunch of coconuts to us! I can't imagine what training it takes for these guys to do this, but it only took each of them about 30 seconds to climb these trees. By the way, you are only looking at the TOP HALF of the tree! (They were both barefoot as well!) They then fashioned some leaves into a basket, and took the remaining coconuts back for the meat. |
