This is my prayer page.  Yes, I am a believer!
I have always believed in the power of prayer,
but a few things have happened in my life
to where I have no doubt that there is a
higher power.  *S*

A Mother's Prayer

Lord, I need your help today.
I want to care for those you've sent into my life,
To help them grow in body, mind, and spirit,
To help them develop the special gifts you've given
them.

But I also want to free them
To follow their own paths
And bring their loving wisdom
To the world.

Help me to embrace them without clutching,
To support them without suffocating,
To correct them without crushing.

And help me to live joyfully and playfully
Myself so they can see your life in me
And find their way to you.

A Prayer from the Heart

Please let me keep the innocence
of a child...I once was.
Help me feel the joy of new knowledge.
Give me the ability to believe in miracles
and fairies too...
Help me find a pure soul and a loving heart in me.
Let me be a child
For a few minutes every day.

Lord, help me to remember that nothing
is going to happen to me today that
You and I together can't handle.
