Botanical Garden
With exhausted mind as my heart wept,
Toward my special place I heavily stepped.
My Botanical Garden waited for me,
Surrounding my soul and setting it free.
Soothing my nerves and mending my heart,
Floating far away to a fresh new start.
Closing my eyes and clearing my mind,
Peacefulness abound is what I find.
Taking deep breaths, I smell herbs and flowers.
Exhaling slowly, renewing my powers.
Relaxing my body. Renewing my soul.
Putting pieces together and feeling whole
Swimming to shore, I open the drain,
Washing away all of my pain.
Enlightened heart and softer step,
My mind is fresh, I have more pep.
My mind appeased, my heart whole,
Loving life once again, body, heart and soul.
