Death of Innocense

Innocence has died.
Love was betrayed.
He could have left.
Instead he stayed.
She could have said no,
But she did not.
He could have hung up,
Instead they're caught.
She found out
The wrong way.
Her heart broke
That very day.
Innocence they love
Shall be no more.
They've ruined it
At the very core.
And now there is
A shiny shield
To protect her heart
Until she's healed.
She was smacked
And then she cried.
She's grown-up.
Innocence has died.
