Fallen Off the Deep End

She's gone on vacation.
Her mind's on a trip.
Sunny destination
Somewhere on a ship.

She's out there floating
In the middle of the sea,
All alone in her mind.
Please just let her be!

She hung a sign on the door:
Do not Disturb her rest.
For, you see, she needs it
If she's to be her best.

Waves rock away her anger.
The breeze blows away her pain.
She's gone with nothing to lose
And her sanity to gain.

I know that you can see her.
She pretends that you cannot.
She needed quiet time
And quiet's what she bought.

If you try to talk to her
You'll find she makes no sense.
If you saw her when she left,
You'd know she's really tense.

Her mind is an empty shell
And I don't mean to offend:
But she's one crazy woman

She's gone off the deep end.
