God's Home
The people go 'round and 'round the world
Living bitterness and greed,
Jealousy abound this perfect place
While on other's souls they feed.
Along comes a good person, a saint,
Who wants to change the land,
Fighting against petty evilness
Hiding heads in the sand.
Anyone brave enough to fight it
Eventually does die;
There are more bad seeds born each day
Than birds in the sky fly.
It's frightening, really, to live here
Amongst the death and pain.
To leave is by force or choice alone.
Better to watch the rain.
Murder and mayhem all through the streets
Of this place God called home
Makes one wonder what He'd really think
If ever He does roam.
