Love's Sweet Desire

Teasing and flirting, passion's dance,
Laughing eyes with a wicked smile.
Hoping and praying for just a chance
To win your attention for a little while.

Delicate caresses on softened skin.
Shivers running up my spine.
Just one taste of your mouth within
Would be sweeter than the richest wine.

Tantalizing kisses, teasing a reply
From my body so awakened with love and desire.
Nerve endings taught, I begin to fly,
Anticipating with greed what will transpire.

Almost completion, your lover's pace slows,
Taunting with hands and lips divine.
Breathing quickens, my face glows
From passion so great, it cannot be mine.

So close to the edge now, ready to fall,
You hold me back with restrained touch.
Tormented with sweet tenderness, I want it all.
Love take no prisoners, you want me as much.

Now over the cliff, towards passion's flame,
We fall headlong swiftly into the fire.
Tears streaming, I scream your name:
The only song of my love's sweet desire.
