My Little Adult

Hey My Little Adult,
What are You up to now? What problems have You solved today?
Through what did You plow?

Hey My Little Adult,
With the hair so much like mine, what are You thinking today?
How did You make the sun shine?

Hey My Little Adult,
One green eye with a brown streak, what kind of stuff did You learn?
Why are You never weak?

Hey My Little Adult,
Who did You prove wrong today? Who did You argue with and win?
What did they have to say?

Hey My Little Adult,
What dragons did You slay? Who's justice did You serve?
Who's the unlucky who had to pay?

Hey My Little Adult,
How have You gotten this bold? Where in the world did it come from?
How did You get so old?

Hey My Little Adult,
Through all of life's battles and fights, know You can count on Your Mother,
Through all of life's little bites.

Hey My Little Adult,
I know You think You're grown, But know this in Your heart,
My heart You'll always own.

For, My Little Adult,
You came last with lots of thought. So in my heart You shall be
Always and forever caught.
