Sweet Perfume
It started with a look across the room
Or maybe he could smell his love's sweet perfume.
He stopped and realized
It'd been a while.
She glanced up and coyly returned his smile.
He got up on his feet and started to walk.
She met his gaze and knew they'd not talk,
For the moment of sharing had come to bear
As he stopped...
...and took her hand with care.
He led her to their own special place.
They lay down together with such amazing grace.
Starving mouths meet
Tasting the wine
Of love so strong
As they continued to dine.
Hands search and wander and softly memorize.
A kiss breaks...
...He searched her green eyes
Looking for acceptance.
Showing great need.
His mouth claimed hers.
She acknowledged his greed.
Nothing but bodies tangled and intertwined.
Thoughts went the wayside...
...Nevermind.
They felt passion's fever pitch roar.
Their bodies joined...
...Two people nevermore.
One in body, mind, soul and heart
As two people can be from the very start.
Riding the warm raging river of lust.
Enjoying the fire though go out it must.
White hot inferno,
There's no turning back.
Now taking beings
Enjoying passion's attack.
All at once the explosion
Quelling the need,
Flying down the waterfall,
Spilling the seed.
Coming down to rest in that soft special place.
Breaths calm and they sigh.
He touches her face.
And to think it all started with a look across the room...
...Or perhaps on the air floated love's sweet perfume.
