Throw Me a Rope!!
Teetering as if on a tightrope,
Sitting on a ledge,
Someone please throw me a rope
Before I slip off the edge.
Though you've tried for gentleness,
Push me you have done.
Trying to regain simpleness,
Wishing for a gun.
Ignoring explanations,
Not hearing my pleading voice,
Attempting ministrations,
You leave me no choice.
Wanting this to fix itself.
Tired of always trying.
Joy and laughing on a shelf.
Sick to death of crying.
Love you try to illustrate,
Instead your power I feel.
Knowing how to manipulate,
You just won't let me heal.
Trying hard to overcome
These feelings of great fear.
Slipping closer to the edge some
Feeling the end is near.
NowPleaseTHROW ME A ROPE!
Closing my eyes, I pray,
Grabbing on with all my hope
I've survived another day.
