Below is a list of colours and their symbology. Hope you enjoy..

"Blue is regarded as being therapeutic to the mind and body. It has been called a prerequisite for empathy and meditative awareness. On the bright side, it can symbolize balance, harmony, trust and loyalty. But it can also be symbolic of solitude and sadness. Great for the classroom: IQs have been proven high in rooms with blue walls.

"Red is the expression of vital force, the willingness to win and nervous activity. Pulse, blood pressure and respiration rate are said to go UP in the presence of red. She who likes or wears red often revels in intense experience and seeks a fullness of life.

"Purple attempts to unify the impulsiveness of red and the gentleness of blue. The union of these two is said to be a mystical one that requires a high degree of sensitivity. She who likes or wears purple is a dreamer who wants every thought and desire to become reality. She enjoys a magical aspect to most of her activities and relationships.

"Black expresses the idea of nothingness, of extinction, and of absolute boundries. It is the no to the yes of white. Black represents ultimate surrender or relinquishment. When placed next to other colours, black emphasizes and reinforces the character of that other colour.

"Pink is the colour of femininity. Wearing pink can say that you are proud to be a girl. Pink is reminiscent of gooey frosting, cookies, and cakes, and is an appetite enhancer. People tend to feel most attractive in a room with pink lighting.

"Orange is the color of warmth and energy. Those who like it or wear it are usually jovial, lively, and can be forceful. Orange draws attention, is informal, and androgynous. If you dream in the colour orange or about orange objects, it can indicate that you are optimistic about the future, driven by desires and hopes.

"Green indicates a constancy of viewpoint as well as a constant self-awareness. Those who like or wear green place a high value on the I in all forms of possession and self-affirmation. They are generally secure in their person and have high self-esteem. If pushed too far this can turn into a perceived superiority and the desire to have power over others.

"Gray is neutral and indicates a freedom from stimulus and psychological tendency. It is more symbolic of a border or area in between than any distinct body or idea. This can represent an unwillingness to commit or get involved and a desire to remain insulated from influence or stimulus. Gray contains an element of concealment. When worn with or placed next to another colour it can represent an unrecognized desire to be like that other colour."
