Bodywork Tables
The Blue Table
70 inches long
30 inches wide
Reiki end panels
2 inch bar headrest
We have been looking around for quite a while to team up up with someone who creates
Reiki Tables. A few short weeks ago we found the perfect match and we are honoured to be associated
with such a skilled craftsman. (Thanks Chris :)) Oh, and Chris is a Reiki Master ! The price of
the tables are $450.00 each, which includes any of the unique features noted below...items like headrests and
variations in size are all included. (Stacie paid $560 for her table from one of the 'big guys'. Sigh.) Shipping is very reasonable also, ranging from $15.00 - $ 30.00.
The tables are produced in New York State where most of the wood is ecologically harvested for the
construction of the tables. These tables aren't massed produced at a factory but are custom built
for his clients. By building them one at a time, Chris works consciously with the energetic presence
of each table, crafting each table to fit right, work right and feel right for each person.
The tables carry these unique features:
- vertically adjustable 23 inches to 35 inches
- 5 minute adjustment time
- choice of headrest
- headrest holes in both ends
- premium quality Kravet upholstery
- choice of end panel style
- choice of 26 inch to 33 inch width
- choice of 66 inch to 74 inch length (without headrest)
- lightweight: 26 - 31 pounds (depends on size)
- stable 2 bolt design
- 2 inch high density foam
- choice of wood color
- choice of upholstery color
What to Look for in a Table
Will you be carrying the table often ?
If so, you may want a slightly smaller table. other companies often advertise low weights, but that
may for a table which is too small to be comfortable. We're realistic and reccomend a 28" x 69" table. It will
save some weight, but is still big enough to be practical.
Do you Plan to set the table up and leave it more or less where it is ?
Your table's weight isn't so important, so you may want to choose a large working surface, 32" x 72", unless
you're short or have short arms, which would make reaching across it a bit of a stretch, but is still big enough
to be practical.
What modality will you be practising?
- Massage tables need a medium density "firm yet giving"
- Feldenkrais tables are shorter, wider and have very dense foam
- Reiki tables tend to be a bit taller, as the prime issues are comfort for practioners and recipient
How versatile is the table's adjustment?
Large companies bulid small, medium, or large tables, but what if you share the table with
some one who's a different height than you, if you want to sell it, or if you learn a new
modality/skill later on that requires a differant table height ? These tables encompass ALL HEIGHTS.
What kind of warranty are you getting ?
Chris services what he sells and offers a lifetime warranty on the work and materials.
