What would our lives be like?
Had we found each other years ago
Would we have loved each other tight?
I have often wondered to myself
Just what it would be like.
To feel your arms surround me
Would your embrace keep me warm at night?
I wonder what your eyes would say
As I gaze lovingly up at you?
Would they sparkle with your tenderness
Would the love you have shine thru?
As you press your lips to mine.
Would I feel warmth throughout my soul?
Would our passion for each other shine?
If I felt your breath upon my neck
Would my mind be eased of stress?
Would my body explode with passion
As your gentle hands caressed?
I wonder if there's another time
God graciously put aside
For you and I to come together
To share the love we hold inside.
