Working in three dimensions is the most rewarding way to create art.
From the coolness of the wet clay to the heat of the melted wax burnished slowly with hot tools, then to the fire of the molten bronze spewing from the crucibal... It is a gritty process, hard on the body but a thrill for the mind. As I broke the investment off of my first bronze piece, it was better than my best christmas. Then came the cutting off of the sprews and grinding and welding, all to yield a hunk of polished metal with a patina. the torso is fifty pounds and two feet tall. The minotausr is much smaller. They are my eternal chocalate easter bunnies. NFS.
