THE FA-60 AT FAIRFORD | |||||||||||||||
Not really the best picture of the aircraft, but one that shows the three-coloured ventral fin underneath the fuselage. This marking was already removed when the aircraft left the Fairford RIAT on monday. The aircraft is seen here during the runway display on saturday. THE FA-60 AT BEAUVECHAIN
Many people saw the FA-60 during its approach at Beauvechain on the friday prior to the Airshow. However the aircraft was not parked at the static park on saturday-morning. Nevertheless, by great demand the aircraft was towed-out of the shelter on saturday. Photo © Bert Blommé
Two pictures of the FA-60 while parked in the startic. Note that many of the markings are already 'flown away' which seems the only way to get them removed from the aircraft without damaging the paintwork underneath !! Photo © Bert Blommé
Close-up from the FA-60 tail as seen during the Beauvechain Airshow. Note that some parts of the transfer applied to the tail are already well-worn. Also note the number painted on top of the transfer. This was done at Kleine Brogel in order to identify the aircraft again. We think that on the other site the text 349 was painted, but the text was already severely weathered. Photo © Bert Blommé
