Jensen Ackles is the new heartthrob on soap opera Days of Our Lives. He signed a three-year contract to play Eric, Sami's twin brother. Jensen, who now lives in Los Angeles, moved out from Richardson, Texas in September '96. His first television gig was NBC's Mr. Rhodes, but that show didn't get picked up for another season. He almost packed up his bag to go home and enroll in college, but then he was offered a chance to audition for DOOL's producers.
