Ian got his start with the sitcom The Torkelsons, and then the 1994 Kevin Costner film Wyatt Earp as the young Wyatt Earp. This romantic guy is totally down-to-earth. When people come up to him he tells them that he's a scuba instructor. And that's no lie either - he really does teach scuba diving. Ian also plays rhythm guitar. He admits that girls weren't interested in him in junior high. Hmm, think they're sorry now? His ideal date would be to "go to a park and sit on a blanket under a tree and read and cuddle. Then have lunch or dinner." He would also take you ice-skating, and if you don't know how, he'll teach you. Ian's other special skill is to give massages. "Well, I love to give them and get them." Don't you just wish every guy could be this romantic?! Brunettes, get in line! Ian describes what he likes in a girl: "I'm looking for someone attractive, clever, smart. I haven't dated many blondes; most girls I go out with have brown hair."
