The photos on this page were shot at the Butterflies in Flight exhibition at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's a wonderful place to go and spend a day - once one of the worst zoo slums in the country but has been thoroughly renovated into a true Zoological Garden. The butterfly exhibit is full of tropical plants, birds and butterflies and the attendants have to check all who leave because frequently butterflies will alight on visitors and they don't want to lose any! (Butterflies, that is) |
