Neon Lights Go Out and We Go Out With Them PART 4 by V-Star ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Author's Note: I don't own Pokemon, If I did, I'd be freakin' Japanese, okay!? (Sorry!) (_) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Misty's kiss becomes increasingly passionate as she countinues to hold me there. I am astounded, but am helpless to do anything about it. She is holding me prisoner to her kiss and I hate it. I am more amazed then anything else, but I fail to fight back. She pulls back, letting me breath, as though she herself has no need of oxygen. She is smiling. "Feel good?" she asked. Maybe it was because I was lonley, or tired. Or both. Or maybe she really had turned on some part of my mind that said I had enjoyed the kiss. Whatever the reason, what I said next, will always be a shock to me. "Yes..." I whispered, eyes only half open. She leans against me seductivly, and I find myself holding her. "Gary....I want you soooo badly..." she says, leaning back, as if to kiss me again. I predict well for she does just that. For a long while my ind screams: "GET HER OFF!! GETHEROFF!!!!!!!!!" but then I ask...why? Why, when it feels so good to be loved by this beautiful young woman. Finally, unable to stand it, I crush my lips over hers. We're in the kiss for what seems like several minutes before the door opens on the other side of the room. Looking up, Misty's face twists in horror gazing at the inturder. After a few minutes or so I recognize the stance and the look. It strikes me like a Pikachu's thunderbolt. It's Ash. He's taller, and his hair is better kept. He wears a purple jacket that all Elite Trainers wear. His hat is on backwards. He stands there staring in horror at Misty, then at me. I feel another pang of guilt. Before I know what's going on, a large bolt of electricity comes out of nowhere, and strikes me. I fall backwards from the pain, feeling very strange and somehow like I've been betrayed. As I look up, I see Ash has made his way across the pool and over to Misty. Isn't that just perfect. He is yelling at her. "Misty, what's going on!?" "Ash, I just....let me go!" she says, shaking away from his grip. Ash glares at me, as I stand up as best I can. By his side is a Raichu, powerful and strong. It must have attacked me. I stand up as best as I can, watching the two argue. "Misty, who is this guy!?" "You don't know!?" "No, I don't! You're supposed to be going out with ME remember?!" "Ash, that isn't just any 'guy', that's someone we know! Look at him!" Misty says, clearly distressed. Ash turns around to face me and locks his eyes on me. I don't flinch, I keep my gaze level. At first his eyes are filled with hate, but slowly a lficker of recognition appears. I don't blink, neither does he. Misty is out of the picture now she stands faded behind my brother. My brother. He still watches me. Finally it dawns on him as though he has been hiding it. "G-Gary?" he asks, softly. I nod, keeping my gaze trained on him. Raichu looks up at it's master...no friend, for instructions, but Ash makes no attempt to do anything. Misty is sobbing and as her voice enters my ears. Ash turns to face her. His face still looking as though betrayed. Misty blushes and looks down. "I tried to tell you Ash....you wouldn't listen...." Ash is shaking with what appears to be rage. "Misty....you did love didn't you...." "Ash I never...." "Answer the question, Misty." Ash says, looking down. Raichu looks from one to the other. He is confused, and I must admit, I am too. I watch the two until Misty speaks. "Yes." she says chokingly. Ash then turns to me. "Why did you leave?" he asks, pain in his eyes evident. I look down. Perhaps this is the greatest revelation. Not only must I tell him, I must face the truth myself. I hope to god I'm ready. END OF PART 4
