Brennan Stevens Productions is currently wrapping up development of a first-of-its-kind television series. The series, currently titled What's Wrong with This Picture?, is scheduled to go into production late Summer or early Fall 2002.  Current plans are to have nine episodes ready to exhibit at the NATPE 2003 television programing market in New Orleans.

The patent pending* process used in the series takes the television game show to its logical evolutionary zenith - making the home viewer a contestant! Each episode of this unique comedy series is designed to contain a high number of continuity errors, factual errors, and corny production slip-ups. The home viewer spotting the most of these errors in a particular episode will win a $100,000.00 cash prize, with the viewer spotting the most over the course of the season winning the $1Million grand prize.

What's Wrong with This Picture? will be taped in cities all across the United States before live audiences. The content of each episode will be the product of a high school or university's creative writing and drama departments or a local community theatre organization, as supervised and approved by the producers. Each participating organization will receive all proceeds from the sale of tickets to the tapings, as well as a $25,000.00 grant from Brennan Stevens Productions when their episode hits the screen.
Because the series utilizes the vast reservoir of talent in America's high schools, universities, and community theatre organizations, it is immune from strikes by writers, actors, or the like. Therefore, we should be able to bring the show to the viewing audience in an uninterrupted season.
Any high school or university is eligible to participate, as is any community theatre organization. Requests to participate should be e-mailed to [email protected] for consideration.
