Night To Day
By: Prince Trystan
My nights are others' days; my days are others' nights
When normal people are asleep, I take in the sights
The stars up in the sky, the moon bright overhead
The sun, it brightens all the world when I, myself, am dead
I walk across the landscape among all shades of gray
Until colors come to the world, and I find a place to lay
I feel the chill of crisp, night air on the short hairs of my neck
My vision takes in all the night, every little speck
Nothing escapes my notice, my senses are so keen
I command fascination from every human being
I walk under the starlight relieving all my pain
I gather in the moonlight to rejuvenate again
When the sun comes out again to shine across the scene
That is when I will sleep, and slip into a dream
Until the darkness falls and day turns into night
I will awake, become aware, and start upon my flight
Just as some avian breeds and vampires cling to dark
That is when I fly away and wander cross the park
Here and there and everywhere performing all my deeds
The starlight and the moonlight shine sating all my needs
I will be around forever roaming through this 'scape
Protected from the elements within my tailored cape
Until the sun rises brightening the day
And sleep, it overtakes me, and spirits me on its way
