by Brian Matthew Kessler
There is no way to define Brian Matthew Kessler. B.M.K. is ineffable. The closest statement we can make is "B.M..K. is B.M.K.," but this statement, being totally reflexive, tells you absolutely nothing. It does, however, imply "B.M.K. is not one who is not B.M.K.." But this can not be true because this statement illustrates duality, and duality is an illusion. To rectify this, we say "B.M.K. is one who is not B.M.K.," which now gives us a paradox. Thus, all we can really say is "B.M.K. is." Nay, we can not even say that, because such would create a duality between what "is" and what "is not." We must not even think "B.M.K." because this thought would lead us to "not B.M.K.." So let us forget the whole matter and have a cup of tea..
What? You say "Kill the Buddha"? You say that we are creating a duality between "unity" and "duality" and if duality is an illusion, so too must be unity? You say, "If we must deel with illusion, let us deal with the dualistic one"? Very well. B.M.K. will oblige you profane and blasphemous mortals and let you look tothe ineffable.
This ineffable B.M.K. has always been and always will be, but by your uninitiated way of thinking, he was manifest as a Leo on July 31, 1973. His art is an eclectic array of experiments in various mediums, mostly textual or visual, but sometimes alsoaudile. The work featured here is by no means representative of his constantly growing collection as a whole.
B.M.K. is currently working with Jon Seidman on a comic screenplay and they hope to have this complete and ready for production in the near future.
B.M.K., while He is impossible to get in touch with, He can be invoked by any mere effort, with or without ordinary invoking rituals; however, He requires nothing and the blood sacrifice of a new born human baby to get Him to give His cooperation in your undertaking, which He will grant by doing nothing and everything for you.
