So Christmas is over this year. I hope that everyone got some good loot. I know I did! At work, we had a Chinese Christmas. That's the game where everyone brings a gift and gets a number. The person who chooses #1 gets to pick the first gift out of the pile. They open it. The second person can either steal the first person's gift or can pick another gift from the pile. We had seven people playing and we had some pretty cool stuff! Here are some pictures of what we got. Some of the other presents that were given that aren't pictured here were Ants in the Pants game (which was the present I brought), a set of Computer tools, a ball thingy attached to a string (I guess so you can play catch with yourself?), and the movie Fletch.
This was my gift. I was lucky because I was the last person to choose a gift so I got to see everything everyone else had opened and steal it if I wanted to. I dig South Park a lot but I was really torn between this nifty Cartman Office Organizer (holds business cards in the bottom, 2 pens in the back and when you pick the Cartman part up he either says "I'm not fat, I'm getting in shape!", "Bitch! Kick Ass!", or "Beefcake! Beefcake!") and the little alien below. But I ended up with the Cartman organizer.
This cute little alien doll was coveted by Tim the Webmaster. He's only about 4 inches tall and has those neato suction cups so you can attach him to things. The only problem is, if you stick him to something then he's facing the wrong way and you can't see his face anymore.
Janie really cashed in on her present! She got a whole bag full of candy. And not cheap stuff either. She got the lovely Santa PEZ dispenser shown here and the jelly beans in the jar among with a lot of other cool candy.
Ok, so this wasn't included in the Chinese Christmas. But I guess this was Dustin's gift to himself. This is a Stretch Armstrong head. It used to belong to Jeremy the Programmer. He left the company for a $60,000 job. Then Eric the Programmer bogarted it when Jeremy left. Eric moved to Colorado last week for a $70,000 job. Notice a pattern here? So Dustin swiped this little gem from Eric's desk when he left in hopes of getting a bitchin' job when he leaves here too.
