Each of the following links can provide useful information about
herbs:
-
Algy's Herb Page is a great
place to start. Be sure to bookmark
Algy's Herb Talk, a bulletin board where you can leave questions for
Suzy and others to answer. He also has a section devoted to the medicinal
use of herbs which has a very complete list of links.
-
Herbanet
Information Center is another terrific place to find both information
and links.
-
The University of Washington
invites you to walk through their medicinal herb garden. You won't find
much information on the uses of the herbs, but the pictures can be valuable
if you are working on identifying local herbs.
-
Henrietta also provides a good list of links on her Herbal
Homepage.
-
Mother Nature has
a good list of symptoms and the herbs that can be used for each. While
it only provides about 1/3 of the entries of my
own list, it does have some terrific advantages, like inclusion of
herb actions along with the symptoms and hypertext links to more information
about each of the herbs. Since it's not specific to the wild herbs I collect,
it's also information that may be more useful across a broader geographical
area.
-
If you're into organic farming, you might also want to try Noah's
Ark, the homepage of an organic farmer who has provided lots of useful
links.
