Child of Light, Child of Dark Chapter Seven Things have been quiet for the past six days. Seiko had not spoken to his father since the last time they had talked and Undime had been wondering what was going on with both of them. She asked Yasha but he didn’t say a word about and always changed the subject. The same thing Seiko had done when Amika and Tatsuya had asked him. The air around them had been getting tense and Aya did not like it on bit. So she called for a meeting. When everyone was there she stood up from where she was sitting by Yuuho. “Okay what is going on with you two?” She asked. “Why are you asking?” Yasha asked in a whisper. “Because we think we have the right to know.” Aya responded. “When you’re around and Seiko comes he changes directions. You guys never speak together anymore and…” Seiko stood up. “If you want answers ask him.” He walked towards the door while grabbing his coat. “Where are you going?” Sumino asked. “Out!” Seiko slammed the door. They all looked at Yasha expecting an answer from him. Yasha sighed and leaned back in his chair. “I told him he had to fight Sari no matter how he felt about her. He couldn’t take it. We argued. Now we’re not speaking. That sums it up.” “But why did you say that?” Undime wondered. “Because he was the one who came to me and asked if there was another way. I told him and he didn’t like it.” He said. “Oh Seiko.” Aya sighed. *~*~*~*~*~*~* Seiko stood on the roof leaning on the rail. He stared at a picture in his hands. In the picture was him and Sari. “You don’t deserve her.” A voice suddenly said. Seiko looked up and found Takiru a few feet in front of him. Seiko glared at him with immense anger. “What do you want?” He snarled. Takiru ran his hand through his hair. “You’ve hurt Sari so many times… I don’t know why she won’t leave you.” He narrowed his eyes at Seiko. “If you go through this fight and hurt her again you will personally feel my hatred towards you.” “I suggest you leave.” A calm yet familiar voice was heard. Both men turned around to see Sumino and Amika by the door. “Now.” Amika insisted. “No need to be pushy Amika. I…” He turned back to Seiko. “Was just giving Seiko here a warning.” He glared at him. Seiko returned his glare. “I won’t touch her so don’t worry about that, but I suggest you worry about yourself…” He stood tall. “Cause once I’m down with you, there will be nothing of you but dog food. You tell your friends the same goes for them.” The wind blew and the two men who loved the same woman looked at each other with hatred. Sumino and Amika smirked. “We’ll see about that. We’ll meet again.” Takiru vanished. “Count on it.” Seiko whispered and vanished. Both Sumino and Amika ran to where he was and looked down the streets. Seiko was walking away from the building as if nothing happened. “Seiko.” Amika whispered. “Do we go after him?” She turned to look at Sumino. “No, let him be.” Sumino wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him as they walked out of the roof and into the building. “Sumi, if I was Sari and you were Seiko would you fight against me?” Amika looked at him. Sumino turned to her and knew she meant it from the look on her face. He kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear. “I would never do anything to hurt you, Ami.” As she heard a smile grew on her lips. “Good cause I would have killed you if you did.” Sumino laughed. “Come on let’s report this back to Yasha and Undime.” *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* “Takiru where have you been?” Tenshi asked. Takiru looked at her. “Somewhere. Why?” “Sari wanted to speak to you about the battle that will happen very soon. She already spoke to me and Matsao.” “Where is she now?” “In her room. I think she fell asleep.” Tenshi walked away. “But I’ll go check.” Takiru quickly grabbed her wrist. “Don’t I’ll do it ok?” “Umm…yea sure.” She watched as he left towards Sari’s room. Arms creped around her waist from the back and it made her jump a little. “What’s the matter with him?” Matsao whispered as he rested his chin on her shoulder. “I don’t know. He just suddenly appeared in front of me and he didn’t look to happy.” Tenshi explained. She turned around in his arms and looked at him a bit mad. “Don’t sneak up on me like that. You scared me.” Matsao grinned. “Sorry.” “Sure you are.” She glared at him. “Come on lets go out.” “Shouldn’t we tell them?” “No, I don’t want anything bothering us.” Tenshi blushed a little as she leaned on him. Suddenly she grinned a little and got out of his hold. “Race ya to the elevator.” Without warning she started running. “Tenshi come back you cheater.” Matsao yelled after her as he began running. The only respond he got from her was laughter. Taker entered Sari’s room and found her sleeping on her bed. He walked up to her and gently shook her. “Sari.” He whispered. “Hmph.” She whispered sleepingly. “Tenshi said you wanted to talk to me.” Sari’s eyes opened, “Yeah. Where were you?” She asked as she looked at him. He smiled at her. “Paying a visit.” “Oh.” She stood up and straightened her wrinkled clothes. “I was planning for them to attack first, but I don’t think that will happen. So…” She walked up to her desk and pulled out a ribbon and tied her hair up. “We’ll drag them out.” “How do we do that?” Takiru asked as he watched her. “They are too good for their own good. If we threatened to destroy half the city they will surely come.” She looked at him with a smirk. “Aren’t I right?” “Yeah, but how are we going to tell them?” “Easy, we’ll broadcast the news one of them is bond to hear the message.” “You can be evil at times.” “You have no idea.” Sari giggled. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* It was nighttime and Seiko and everyone was in the leaving room when all of the sudden the T.V. switched on by itself. They gasped as they saw Sari’s face on the screen. “Hello.” She spoke calmly. “One of you guys has to be watching this message. We as in Taki, Tenshi, Matsao and I are telling you if you don’t come to the Crystal Tower in about thirty minutes, I’ll take great amount of pleasure in destroying half of Tokyo. It’s 10:00 now, I’m counting.” She smiled a wicked smile and the T.V. turned off. “She wouldn’t.” Aya whispered. “I wouldn’t want to find out. Lets go.” Yasha spoke. He held Undime’s hand as it shook. He turned to her. “You don’t have to come.” “I want too.” Was all the raven hair woman spoke before they all disappeared. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* “What time is it?” Tenshi asked as all four of them waited by the tower. “It’s 10:40.” Matsao replied. “They’re ten minutes late.” Sari growled. “I don’t think they took me seriously.” She pointed her hand towards a house. “This will show them.” A blast shot her hand and headed straight for the target. Minutes later it exploded. A ruin doll was thrown at her feet but she paid no mind to it. She pointed to another house and was about to do the same thing when a blast headed straight for her. Takiru pushed her out of the way and ducked. “Finally.” Sari whispered as she stood up. She Takiru, Tenshi and Matsao all turned forward to see their foes in front of them. Yuuho stood straight. He was the one who threw the blast at Sari. “I was wondering how many innocents would die because of you.” Sari snickered. “You don’t have any right to take another’s life Sari. No right at all.” Undime spoke. “Please mother save it for someone who cares.” She waved her hand as if dismissing the subject. “Now…” She smirked. “Let the games begin.” Tenshi stepped forward. She laughed as her shadow grew bigger and split in to two new shadows. Two Clones of her stepped out of the shadows and stood by her side. “Sari please let me go first.” “As you wish.” Tenshi chose her targets and sent her clones to Aya and Tatsuya while she lunged at Amika. All six opponents were engaged in a furious battle. Aya was having a bit of trouble with her foe. Every time she would strike it would go right through it. She couldn’t land a punch or kick. “What the hell is this?” She spoke in anger. Tatsuya was having the same trouble and was starting to lose his patience as well. Amika was sent flying to the ground as she received a kick to the stomach. She groaned in pain. “Stand up.” Tenshi yelled as she walked over to her. Amika slowly got on all four as she had to stand. “I said get up!” Tenshi kicked her in the stomach and Amika gasped in pain. Sari laughed amused that Tenshi was doing so much damage to all three warriors. “Pathetic.” She whispered. Strong arms caught Amika as she was thrown back by a blast. “Ami, are you alright.” She heard Sumino’s voice. “Let me go. She’s going to get it.” She spoke harshly. She struggled out of his arms and ran up to Tenshi with speed that human eyes cannot follow. “No body does that to me and gets away with it.” She faced Tenshi and with the power of the wind to guide her she threw swift kicks and punches at Tenshi who blocked most of them. She threw one last kick and it caught Tenshi in the chest and she crashed into the wall making a large dent. “Bitch.” Amika whispered. Aya was thrown back into a car and fell on her knees and hands coughing and wheezing. She stood up carefully. “How the hell I’m I suppose to hit her!” She screamed in rage. Water danced around her foot before making its way up her body. Tatsuya was thinking the same thing before he was slammed into a wall. “Damn.” He whispered as he struggled to get up. “Tenshi is down.” Sari said as she watched her friend having difficulty getting up. She looked up at Amika and glared at her. She turned to watch the clones winning their battles. “Go, take the others down.” She ordered Matsao and Takiru in a whisper. “Leave mother to me.” “Yes.” They both whispered obediently. Matsao took on Sumino, Yuuho and Yasha. While Takiru took on Seiko. Slowly Sari made her way to her mother. “Sari.” “Hello mother.” Was all she said before she lunged at Undime. Undime quickly grabbed Sari’s fist that was flying straight for her face and twisted it. Sari yelled in pain. “Sari snap out of it or pray that the gods will help you.” “I’ll take my chance.” Sari sneered. As she kneed her mother in the stomach, but before she could connect Undime used her other hand to block it. “You fool!” She yelled and threw her back. “I didn’t raise you to be like this.” Sari looked at her mother with a death glare. She stood up quickly and strikes again. This time she connected and her mother hit the ground harshly. The battle between all warriors grew fiercer as the time passed. Buildings, roads, and cars were destroyed as they got in their way. Sari found that she was no match for her mother at all. Undime completely powered over her. “Please Sari before it’s too late.” Her mother pleaded. “I won’t accept your pity!” She yelled. She lunged at Undime again. Undime moved out of the way and stopped her daughter from falling only to throw her back to the ground in front of her. “You’re stubborn just like your grandmother.” Seiko sent a blast of energy to a dazed Takiru and sent him flying through the air and landing on top of a car. He looked around to find that his guardians were starting to gain the upper hand of their battle and smiled. He looked back at Sari and found her in the air. She was struggling to get down while at the same time swearing every curse words from the book. He noticed Undime was on the ground preparing to attack one last time. The sadness was written all over her face as she lunched a huge amount of energy at Sari. Fear struck him, quickly without thinking he put himself in the way of the attack. Both Sari and Undime’s eyes went wide as Seiko took the hit. A scream full of agony was heard in everyone’s ear. The battle stopped and looked up to their horror. “Seikoooooo!!!!” Sari screamed as she desperately tried to get him out of the attack. “Seiko!!!” When the attack died Seiko was found unconscious, his clothes were ripped in places as blood was found on every wound he had. “Noooo!!!”
