Prologue: Travelling ---United States, New-York, January, at night--- Noise. So much noise in this city. A girl is standing on a balcony, watching all these crazy people, living their crazy life. They always run: run for their job, run to meet their lifemate, run to go have fun… "So lucky to run only for that…" she whispered. She took a strange stone from her pocket. It was like a very small egg, only this "egg" was pink. She sighed. She knew that the time has come, she knew it the moment that her stone began to glow, this afternoon. And she knew what she must do now. She sighed again. "Oh well, at least I'm going to be out of this city for a while" she thought ironically. ---Canada, Ontario, one month later, in the afternoon--- "YO! JC! WAIT UP!!" " CAN'T!" "C'MON!" With a sigh, the running guy stopped, waiting for his friend to catch him up. He was a slender, not very athletic, but well- proportioned guy, around 17 years old. He was a little taller than the average and he had long chestnut brown hair that stopped below his shoulders. Finally, his well-padded friend arrived, panting. "JC… you're… crazy… to run… like that… in winter!" "Maybe… but I have to meet someone, and if I don't hurry, I'm gonna be late, Mich!" smiled JC. Michel laughed. "Ah! You got another date, don't you? Another romantic rendez-vous, you lucky one!" Suddenly, JC's face became more serious. "Yeah, well, it's not what you think. It's… different." he said in a low voice. "Yo! Are you sure you are JC? I never seen you so serious! Well, except maybe when we broke your mother's vase… " he began to say, with laughter in his voice. "Euh… listen, I'm sorry, but I got to go, okay? I'll call you later if I have time." He said with a small smile. "Yeah… sure. See ya!" replied Michel. "See ya!" After waving to his friend, JC run again, then stopped to see if Michel was out of sight. Relieved to see he was, he took something in his pocket: a small green egg-shape stone. He look at it , with hope in his green eyes. "Could it be true? Could it be that this girl is real?" He put his stone back in his pocket, and start running again, running to this park which the girl said she will meet him. When he arrived, he looked carefully. He saw some children playing in the snow, their parents sitting on seats and talking. With hesitation, he sat on a distant seat, and waited, a little anxious. He laughed at himself. "Wow, this is surely one of the first time that I'm nervous about a girl!" "I supposed you are Joshua-Christopher Larson aka JC?" Surprised, JC turned quickly his head and blinked several times. " You… so you are real…" he whispered. She nodded, emotionless. "Yes, now come. We don't have much time." ---Japan, Tokyo, six-seven months later, in late morning--- "Hum… so, this is Japan." a young man said with quite a strong accent. He looked around him, trying to find the persons who were supposed to welcome him. However, all he saw was a huge crowd where people were trying to get their luggage. He sighed. "Well, I guess all airports are similar. Might as well get my luggage." He tried to pass, pushing sometimes some persons, but finally, he reached his goal. As he were taking his stuff, he heard two persons talking very loudly. He turned his head and saw a couple who were obviously arguing, in Japanese of course. "I told you that we should had come earlier! Now, how we are supposed to find him?!?" almost yelled a cute young girl. She had red-blond hair that stopped in her neck and she had blue eyes, which now were blazing with anger. "Onegai, nee-chan! Stop overreacting like that! We will find him, we have his picture! And if we don't find him now, we will just have to wait until everyone is gone!" said an exasperated guy, which his eyes matched perfectly with the girl's. However, his hair were short and blue, with locks that sometimes goes in front of his eyes. "Great. We'll wait for hours in this…" "I don't think that will be necessary." The girl turned around and face a guy who were as tall as her. He had long brown hair, which were tied, and had his fringe over his left eye. She stared at him a little, then shook her head. "So, it's you the Australian?" she said with an annoyed voice. "Reiko-chan! Please! His name is Jason Bailey!" The boy fixed her a moment, then went to shake hands with this Jason. "Hi! I'm Reshi Yoshida and this is my sister, Reiko. Please, don't mind her, she seems rude, but she can be really sweet… when she wants to!" laughed Reshi. At his comment, she sticked out her tongue to her brother. "Well, she seems to be a little childish, too!" said Jason with a small smile. "Watch your words! Don't forget that you will stay in OUR house for a full year!" "Gomen nasai, Reiko-san." replied Jason with a small bow. "Well, I think we should go home now, ne?" grinned Reshi. ---In space, far away from Earth, at the same moment--- "When will we arrived?" asked a woman stunningly beautiful. She was tall and slim, the perfect body for a model. She had long curly purple hair which was in a ponytail and so stopped at her knees. However, her dark blue eyes were cold and evil, which always made people shiver when they looked at her. "We will arrived in four days, Madam." answered a man. "Good. And are you sure that these… special waves are working?" "Affirmative." She smiled evilly "Perfect. Soon, we will find what belongs to us, even if it means some sacrifice. Right, my little boy?" she said as she turned her head toward somebody in the shadow. "Yes, Mother." replied a flat, masculine voice. ---Back to Tokyo, in the evening--- Jason was in his new room, lying on his bed, thinking. "Why?" he thought. "Why did I decide to come here? Well, it's true that I'm not bad in languages and that I always wanted to come to Japan. But why now? Why such in a hurry? At least, I could have wait until school is finished. Oh well, I will finished it here!" He smiled. Knock. Knock. Jason turned his head toward the door. "Hai!" It was Reshi. "Ne, how are you doing?" he said with a gentle smile. "Oh, I'm gonna be fine. It was one of my dreams to come here, and it's not like if it was really different than home." he said bitterly. "You are lonely, aren't you?" Reshi was talking so low that Jason thought he was in pain. "Hai, I am, but how do you hnow?" he replied. Reshi, obviously not prepared for this question, blushed. "Hmm… well… I think it's because we are lonely, too!" he said with a sad smile. Jason blinked. "How could you be lonely? You are living with an uncle who is in charge of a martial arts school! And you can help him, you and your sister! You must have met many persons here!" he said with envy. "Hai, it's great to live here!" he laughed a little, then became serious. " Demo, do you know what happens when you live with a master of martial arts?" "Euh… he beats you?" This time, Reshi bursted out laughing. "Baka! Well, it's true that we found ourselves many times on the ground!" He calmed himself a bit. "You have almost no choice that to practice martial arts… and to improve very quickly." "Oh… I see. You have kicked ass to many students, right?" "Not only me, Reiko-chan too!" He giggled. "She is even better than me! Hmm… it's true that she is more popular than me, even if most of people are afraid of us!" "Well, I understand why they are afraid of her: she can be very scary when she is angry! Demo, why people are afraid of you?" Jason stared seriously at Reshi. "Ah… well…" BANG! Sweatdrops. "Reshi-CHAN! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU? PICK UP YOUR THINGS ON THE GROUND AND PUT THEM IN YOUR CHAMBER!!!!" "Hehe… I should go before nee-chan kills me! Anyway, it's time to do to bed! Oyasumi nasai, Jason-san!" Reshi ran out of the chamber like if it was on fire. "Oyasumi nasai, Reshi-kun…" whispered Jason. What are you hiding? ---Ireland, Airport of Dublin, two days later, in the morning--- "I'll never forgive myself! How could I have been so blind, so weak?" "Please, it's not your fault. You have done everything you could do. But even you can't do the impossible." "Yo! It's time to go! Can't wait to see Japan! Especially the Japanese girls!" "Please! For once, be serious! It isn't a game, for God's sake!" "Yeah… sorry." "And please, be careful. Both of you" "Always." To be continued… (of course!)
