The Six Heavens of Mishna 
Chapter 7 

In the city called Himiro, the gang were in a hotel in the 
girls room. They had changed during the year. Kera no longer 
kept her hair in a bun, she had left it down to grow. Her 
eyes changed from dark lilac to a lighter color. She had the 
same clothes and she was 23 years old. 

Reiko’s eyes changed from almost red to blood red. She had 
let her hair grown and it reached up to her butt and was now 
block. Everything on her cloth that was decorated with a dragon 
was now decorated with a tiger. Her age 24. 

Susaki’s clothes were no longer decorated by a dragon but by 
her animal. She wore the choker she received for her 18th birthday. 
Her tattoo on her arm magically changed to her animals. She still 
held her hair in two buns, and her eyes stayed the same. She’s 
now 19 years old. 

Midi is Midi. she did not change except she had gotten more serious. 
her age 1,990 years old. 

Hiroshi’s armor was now a snakes instead of a dragons with no helmet. 
He did not change. He is 26 years old. 

Koji’s hair became a lighter color of silver, and his eyes stayed 
the same, gold. He is now 25. He wore an armor representing his 
guardian, Shanti (the wolf), with no helmet. 

Satoki did not change at all except his armor was representing 
his animal Shentaru (falcon), no helmet. He’s age 24 years old. 
He still has his sandy short hair and porcelain eyes. 

The year had changed them, it made them more wisely and stronger. 
They had being showed their past of each generations by Midi. They 
had seen the closeness between the child and the warrior of Shentu. 
They had watched allot of things that had happened to their generation 
and it made them wiser and focus. As soon they had learned the lesson 
they were brought here to learn, Midi had told them that they would 
begin to look for the child. Reiko had been leading them in the search, 
because they had found out she had a link to him, but they didn’t 
know why. Midi told, them it was because each generation of the warrior 
of Shentu loved the child to death and that they always had a link. 
That same link stayed with them in every generation. 

Now they are in the girl’s room. They had rented two rooms in a hotel. 
The group was discussing what they had went through to get to where 
they are now. 

“I never thought we would get this far. All those attacks to keep us 
away from the child were harsh.” Koji said as he stretched is arms. 

“We don’t even know who exactly we are fighting, and it’s been a 
year. “ Susaki spoke as she laid on her bed. 

“I really don’t care...who or what they are, they will not keep me 
from Mishna. “ Reiko whispered 

Everyone turned to look at Reiko who was sitting on one of the beds, 
looking down at her hands. Even though Reiko had never seen the child, 
she had been growing closer to him by sensing his feelings through 
their link. None of them understood it except Midi who refused to say 
a word. 

“Reiko, don’t get to attached to him. We don’t even know where he 
is yet and might not get him back for a long time.” Kera whispered. 

“I don’t care if I don’t see him for another five years. I will 
find him so don’t even think of stopping me.” Reiko spoke as she 
looked at them with angry eyes. 

“Reiko that’s crazy! You don’t know him! You haven’t even met him 
yet.” Hiroshi said 

“YOU DON’T KNOW THAT! I don’t know how but I can feel his emotions 
either they are happy, sad, scared or in pain. I can feel them!!! 
If you don’t want to find him that's fine with me! I will find him 
and if you step in my way you’ll regret it...all of you.” Reiko 
screamed in anger and walked out the room and out the hotel. ‘I 
will find you, and when I do you’ll never have to worry. I’ll treat 
you just as if you were my son, I’ll give you a family like I never 
had...I promise.’ Reiko thought as she was walking blindly in the 
dark streets. Her tears unconsciously fell one by one as she 
remembers her childhood. ‘Like I never had.’ Her pace became quicker 
until she was running into the darkness with tears streaming down. 

In the hotel, Koji and Midi were glaring at the group in front of 
them. 

“Koji...Midi we didn’t...” Susaki started 

“Don’t talk to me.” Koji ran out of the room to find Reiko. 

“How can you say that to her? After all the things you have witness 
and heard between the warrior of Shentu and the child! You should 
have known better! I’m very disappointed in all of you.” Midi Said 
angrily while watching the faces of regret in front of her. She 
sighed, “Look, tomorrow we are heading out so go to sleep. I’ll wait 
up for Koji and Reiko.” 

“Why can’t we stay and wa....” Satoki left his sentence hanging 
when he received a glare from Midi. They knew that she wouldn’t 
listen to them when she is angry so he sighed and stood up, followed 
by the others. They bid goodnight and the men went to their room 
while Kera and Susaki climbed in their bed. 

Through out the one year and three months they met, they had grown 
closer together. They came from friends to family.

Koji went to the closest school and went to the playground, something 
told him that she might be there. When he entered the playground he 
saw her sitting on a swing set looking at the moon. He walked up 
behind her and stopped when he was only two feet away from her. 
“Reiko...” He whispered. 

Reiko turned around to see Koji behind her with a concerned frown 
on his face. She turned back to the moon. “How’d you find me?” She 
whispered 

“Instinct...I guess.” He walked to a swing o the right of her and 
sat down. “What’s wrong Rei-chan? Why did you run?” 

Total silence rained over them. “It’s...just that I keep having 
dreams of my childhood....and when I wake up I have images of 
Mishna being treated the way I was.....I don’t want that to happen. 
Koji, I love him so much and yet I don’t know why.” Reiko explained 
as she stares at the stars, she could feel Koji’s gaze on her. “I 
want to find him, Koji.” She whispered in the air. 

“Reiko you know I’ll do anything for you and I’ll be glade to help 
you. I can see how much it means to you.” Koji replied. ‘Something 
is tugging me towards him too.’ 

“It does Koji, it really means a lot to me...the reason I feel 
so attached to him is because he is my son.” 

Koji was shocked hearing this, he couldn’t find his voice, and 
so he kept quiet. 

“Not in blood...but he is my son...I love him. All my generation 
and his made them close to each other and with each generation it 
grew stronger and eventually they became like mother and son. Do 
you understand now, koji? Why I have to find him? Why I cannot let 
anything happen to him?” 

“Yes, I understand Rei-chan. Even if you are not his mother I know 
you will care for him like one. I just hope it won’t effect our 
relationship.” 

Reiko turned to look at Koji. “Our relationship is strong Koji. It 
will never die even in death, it won’t have a bad effect but only 
a good one. I love you more than life itself and also the child, 
you two are the most important people in my life. I would die if I 
lost one of you.” Reiko looked directly into Koji’s eyes and smiled. 
She stood up and sat on Koji’s laps. She stared at him and gentle 
caressed his right cheek, “I know I don’t show my emotions that 
often koji, but I do love you and nobody can change that.” 

Koji smiled, he wrapped his arms around her waist and drew her 
closer to him. He leaned in and placed his lips on hers. He kissed 
her soft and gentle, Reiko seductively slide her hand that was on 
his cheek to the back of his head and placed her other hand on his 
chest. Koji deepened his kiss and pulled Reiko closer as he got 
his permission. Reiko let out a pleasure moan as she felt Koji 
pulling her closer making her move her hand that was on his chest 
to his neck and her body pressing against his. 

“Get a damn room. I think I’m going to be sick.” A dark mocking 
voice called out. 

Reiko broke the kiss, she and Koji looked back in surprise. There 
they saw a woman/demon creature. Her skin was purple/gray. Two 
horns where on her forehead, she had bat like wings on her back. 
Fangs were sticking from her mouth. Her feet looked like bear’s 
feet minus the fur, and her hands had claws. She had cut off purple 
top that suit her perfectly with a cut off shorts that fit her 
well. Her red eyes sparkle evilly, as her red hair glowed in the 
moonlight. 

Reiko immediately stood up from Koji’s lap followed by Koji. They 
watched the creature in front of them and knew it was one of 
Evillache creation. She was the only one they knew that sent 
disgusting creatures at them. Then Evillache stepped away from 
behind the demon. She looked at Reiko and Koji with an evil grin. 
Her eyes locked on Reiko’s and stared in disgust. “I know you are 
the warrior of Shentu, the one that protects the child. My question 
is simple, where is he?” 

Reiko glared at Evillache in the most deadly way possible. ‘Does 
she think I will tell her? She can’t be that stupid?’ She thought. 

“That was not a question to ignore!” Evillache snapped. 

Reiko grinned, “what are you going to do? seek your toy on me?” 
She mocked, Koji snickered as he came to her side. 

Evillache growled and raised her left arm up. She shot a blue blast 
towards Reiko who gracefully dodged it. Evillache sent another 
one but it was more powerful than the last one at Reiko who just 
landed. Seeing She didn’t have enough time to dodged it, Reiko 
covered her face with her arms. Koji ran to Reiko and pushed her 
out of the way at the last minute and took the hit. Reiko watched 
in horror as Koji screamed an agonizing scream and fell backwards. 
she tried to swallow back her tears but she didn’t succeed, one by 
one tears slipped down her face. She rushed to Koji and wiped the 
blood from his mouth and tried to stop the bleeding from his chest 
as he lay there half-conscious. Her tears increases when she 
couldn’t stop the bleeding, but she didn’t care, she was determine 
to stop it. ‘I won’t lose him!’ Her mind cried out. 

Evillache and the demon laughed at Reiko who was crying over her 
dying man. “Look at how pathetic you are! you are a fool, Reiko! 
You are no legendary Queen of Mishna, the most powerful woman 
in the galaxy is definitely not you.” That got Reiko’s attention. 
“I won’t miss next time. Tell me where he is or I’ll send Pixi 
here to...” she shrugged. “well you get the picture.” 

Reiko’s eyes were full of rage as she looked at Evillache. Fire 
could be seen dancing in her eyes. “Go to hell.” She sneered. 

“Pixi you know what to do.” Evillache vanished from site. 

“Yes, master.” She advanced towards Reiko with a cruel smile on. 

Koji managed to raised his hand and placed it on Reiko’s arm, 
which gained her full attention. Which was a very bad terrible 
mistake. She fell back as a blast hit her, slamming into one of 
the swing set pole. Pixi charged at her , She jumped out of the 
way, but Pixi fled towards her in incredible speed. Pixi slammed 
her on the ground with her on Reiko. ‘She’s too fast! I can’t 
keep up.’

“Damn it!!! I have to get midi.” The voice in the heaven said. 

‘Midi.’ 

‘yes?’ 

‘Reiko and Koji are under attack! Hurry before it’s to late.’ 

‘yes.’ 

“Please hurry Midi.” The voice pleaded

Midi rushed out of bed and ran outside, waking Susaki up by accident. 

“Hey Kera.” 

Nothing 

“Kera!” 

Still nothing. 

“KERA GET UP!!!!” 

Kera jolted up. “What? What happened?” 

Susaki rolled her eyes, “Kera, Midi just rushed out of here in 
a hurry and she had a worried expression on her face.” Susaki 
said concerned 

“You woke me up for that? Suki...I was having a really romantic 
dream, too.” Kera whined 

“Kera, I’m worried what if Koji and Reiko are hurt?” Susaki asked 
worriedly. 

“Where did she go?” Kera asked. She got concerned immediately when 
Koji and Reiko’s name were named. 

“I don’t know but I’m scared now.” Susaki hugged herself 

“Let’s go to the guys, we should tell them.” Kera suggested while 
she climbed out of her bed. 

“Okay.”

Midi came running in the school. She had traced their track back 
to the school. What she saw scared her. Koji was on the floor not 
moving at all and Reiko was barely standing and having a hard time 
fighting. Midi angry now revealed her real form. Her wings appeared 
on her back and her fighting fuku. She extended her right hand in 
front of her and a silver/bronze staff with a reddish-blue gem on 
top appeared. 

Reiko was struked down by Pixi, she looked up at the demon defiantly. 

Midi spread her wings as she twirled her staff. 

Reiko was slammed on the ground with Pixi on her. 

Midi whispered a few words as her wings folded forward aiming at 
Pixi. Her wings shine like blades. She closed her eyes as she still
twirled her staff and shifted it to one hand and aimed it at Pixi. 

Reiko cried out as she flew back and hit the wall at break neck speed. 

Midi snapped her eye open suddenly, her eyes weren’t the light 
purple eyes but plain white. “HEAVEN’S DESTRUCTION!!!!” She yelled 
out. Some of her feathers on her wings shined like blades, they 
shot out followed by a beam of gold light. 

Pixi turned to see an attack coming towards her. The attack hit 
true and Pixi was immediately destroyed. Reiko who was barely 
standing watched as the wind blew the ashes away, and she collapsed. 

Midi floated back down, her wings vanished and so did her warrior 
clothes, and they turned back into her nightgown. She ran to Koji 
and checked his pulse, she found a really weak one. She ran to 
Reiko and checked hers, but found it quickly.

Hour Later: 

In the boy’s room, Susaki and Kera were pacing the floor worriedly, 
while the guys were sitting on their beds with a concerned expression 
on faces. They heard a thud next door and ran out. They went into 
the girl’s room to see Koji on the bed not moving, Reiko tending 
his minor wounds, looking exhausted and badly beating up. Midi was 
trying to heal Koji’s deadly chest wound. 

“OH, MY GOD!!! What happened?” Susaki asked 

Reiko ignored her and kept tending, while Midi turned to them but 
didn’t say a word. Kera walked up to Reiko, she could see her 
tears in her eyes, and she gently laid a friendly hand on Reiko’s 
shoulder. “Reiko, come on, let me tend your wounds.” She spoke 
softly. Reiko ignored her and continued to bandage and clean Koji’s
minor wounds. Her mind raced with millions of thoughts, questions 
and accusations. 

“Reiko did you hear what I said? Come and rest.” Kera tried again 

“No,” Reiko inaudible said 

“Reiko you have to or...” 

“I said no! I’m not leaving until he wakes up, so leave me alone!” 
She said more firmly and more authority. Everyone but Midi looked 
at her in surprise. 

“Leave her alone, Kera. She’s being through a lot.” Midi spoke. 
She had just finished healing koji’s chest. “Can someone get me 
water so I can clean his chest.” 

Susaki ran into the bathroom and come out with a bowl of water 
and cloth. She gave them to Midi, who began cleaning immediately. 

30 min later, She had finished cleaning the blood from Koji’s body. 
Satoki had gotten Reiko to let him clean her wounds. While he was 
cleaning their gaze had met. They looked at each other for a while, 
they felt weird like they use to be lovers. 

Reiko was sitting by Koji’s body when Midi returned from washing 
her hands and changing the water in the bowl. The others were in 
the room sitting on the couch watching Reiko closely especially 
Satoki. Midi saw the way Satoki was looking at Reiko and smiled a 
little. 

“Let’s go to the other room. Reiko we are leaving.” Midi reported 
but got nothing back from Reiko. ‘Something is wrong. Something 
must have happened, but what?’ She gestured the others to follow 
her. They all said bye but none of them got a response back. 

As soon the door closed, Reiko crumbled. She covered her face with 
her hands as she cried. “Why? Why did you do that? WHY?”

Other side of the door, they could hear Reiko crying. They all 
had worried expression on their faces. To them it wasn’t often 
that Reiko would cry and if she did, they worry for her. It was no 
point going to her now, they knew she would turn away.

In the orphanage, the little boy woke up in his bed. He placed his 
small hand over his heart, at the same time a tear slid down on his 
left cheek. “mama cry.” He hears a woman cry her heart out in his 
mind. “why?”

FIVE DAYS LATER: 

In the guy’s room, Midi was having a meeting. They all gathered 
around her and waited for what she wanted to tell them. 

“This is our plan for now, we will wait for Koji to wake up and 
feel up to walking around, before we find the Mishna. Then I’ll have 
to train you again, if I had trained you better Koji would have never 
been in this situation.” Midi frowned as she tightened her hands into 
fists. “Ugh!!!” She cried out in frustration and disgust. “I should 
have known better! I should have known you guys weren’t ready!” 

“Midi don’t blame yourself, because of that. You didn’t know, It 
wasn’t your fault.” Hiroshi said. 

“How’s Koji?” Satoki asked 

“There are no changes...and I don’t exactly know if he is going to 
wake up.” She spoke in a soft voice that was almost unheard but 
they heard it and gasped. 

“And Reiko?” Susaki and Kera asked fearing the answer. 

Midi sighed sadly. “She’s not good. Her wounds has been completely 
healed by Shentu, I’m afraid that's the only good news. She hasn’t 
slept a wink, she won’t leave his side. I bring her food and when 
I come back to get it, it’s untouched. She has dangerously lost 
weight and her skin is no longer rich and dark but cold and pale. 
She is exhausted and weak. She blames herself for what happened. 
I don’t like it at all, if she continues there would be nothing 
left of her.” 

“She’s really taking it hard.” Satoki whispered. 

“Who wouldn’t? If I saw you get badly hurt like Koji, I would have 
been the same way.” Susaki whispered chokingly. as she rested her 
head on his shoulder. 

“I’m going to check on her.” Hiroshi said as he stood up. Kera 
caught his arm and he looked at her. She shook her head no. 
“Kera, I....” 

“No Hiro-chan. She needs to be let alone. Wait a while....just 
picture me on the bed instead of Koji and you Reiko. Would you 
like it if someone came to check on you all the time after repeating 
saying ‘leave me alone’?” Hiroshi shook his head hesitantly in 
respond and sat back down.

“Koji please wake up...please.” Reiko cried as she looked at him 
with tears. “Koji onegai...I need you with me.” She leaned towards 
him and gently brushed some of his bangs away from his eyes. 
“Remember the first time we met? Remember how I always was hesitant 
or scared around you? But you didn’t let that stop you from getting 
my attention, to make me yours, Koji. You finally did. It was the 
same day you said you loved me and that you would follow me from 
earth to heaven. Well, it’s the same for me Koji. If you lose, 
I lose.” She softly pecked him on his right cheek. 

For some reason she began to giggling in his ear. “Remember when 
I pulled that stunt to distract Hiroshi, and you took me to the 
river. You said ‘revenge is sweet, isn’t it?’ Then dropped me 
into the river. I came back up and pushed you in and thought I 
finally had the victory but you grabbed me and we fell in.” She 
stopped giggling and was now crying. “Please Koji, whatever you 
do...just come back to me....onegai.” 

Koji’s left index finger moved slightly.

The child sat on his bed. “Dooshite mamma sad? Why cry?” 

OUTSIDE: 

On the oak tree, on a branch Oshio watched the boy. “Something is 
happening with Reiko. It’s not normal to be happy and joyful on one 
day then sad the next. Something happened but what?” He whispered. 
‘Midi what’s happening? Why aren’t you here yet?’

Reiko had placed her head on the bed next to Koji’s head, while she 
held his hand. She was so still that if you came from behind you would 
swear she was sleeping. She had forced herself to clean up. She had 
took a shower, brushed her hair and teeth. She looked better, she was 
still pale and thing but better. 

The door opened slightly behind her, but she ignored it. Midi, Satoki, 
Kera and Hiroshi came in. They signed in relief when they saw Reiko 
‘sleeping’. Satoki went to get a cover while midi went to Reiko and 
Kera and Hiroshi went to check on Koji. 

Reiko quickly closed her eyes when all four came up and she felt a 
cover covering her body. ‘They are wonderful friends. They have worried 
for me for too long. I won’t hurt them by pretending to sleep.’ 

“Do you think he will ever wake up? It’s been seven days now.” Hiroshi 
asked. His voice drenched in concern. 

“I hope he does, but one thing I’m glad of is that Reiko had 
manage to get some sleep.” Midi whispered 

“Poor girl, she’s really taking this hard. I wonder what really 
happened back there?” Satoki asked worriedly as he looked at her. 

Kera sighed softly, “come on let them rest. As soon as they wake 
up we’ll find the child and go back to training. Let’s go and get 
something to eat...and for Reiko too. She must be starving by now.” 
The others nodded and one by one they left the room. 

As soon as the door closed Reiko lifted her head from the bed. 
“We have such good friends.” She caressed Koji’s left cheek. 
“Sweetheart, please don’t leave me.” Reiko felt her eyelids close, 
the urge to sleep had finally caught up with her. She tried to 
fight it but couldn’t. She lowered her head back on the bed and 
fell asleep. Her hand was still on Koji’s left cheek. 

Koji’s hand went up and gently grabbed hold of Reiko’s hand from 
his face and held it. His eyes slowly opened. “Rei,” He whispered. 
“You stubborn girl.” He chuckled. He slowly stood up from bed not 
wanting to wake Reiko. He had known she had refused to sleep and eat. 
He gently picked her up and ever so gently laid her on the bed. 
He walked to the door and left. He walked across and went to his 
room. 

The girls blushed a deep crimson color when they looked at who 
entered the room. Koji stood there in only pants, his masculine 
chest was exposed, and his hair was no longer tied in a loose 
ponytail. It rained down his shoulder like a waterfall of silk 
while his bangs were spread out over his eyes. The girls regained 
their composure and smiled at him. 

“You finally woke-up. We were getting worried after a while.” 
Satoki said as he looked at his friend and then his girl and noticed 
she was blushing, then he noticed all the girls were blushing. 
Hiroshi noticed it to and turned to his friend. “I love you like a 
brother and happy that your back, but did you have to come in here 
shirtless?” 

Koji laughed, “Jealous Hiroshi? The only reason I came in here 
WAS to get a shirt. It is not my fault if the girls were here.” 

“Yea yea, just hurry up and put on a shirt. You’re seducing my 
woman!” Satoki grumbled as he threw a shirt at Koji who was laughing. 

Once he put on the shirt Midi gave him food to eat, “You must 
be starving?” 

“Thank you.” He said as he took his plate. 

“Where’s Reiko?” Susaki asked 

“She’s sleeping. I didn’t want to wake her.” Koji said after he 
swallowed his food. 

“Good, she needs it. Why don’t you tell us what happened?” Satoki 
asked as they all began to eat and Koji started the story.

“Evillache you are testing my patience!” The dark voice growled. 
“Where is the kid?” 

Evillache knelt down on one knee as she hung her head in disgrace. 
“Milord I...I...I don’t...I don’t know.” She said with fear. 

“What do you mean YOU DON’T KNOW!!!???” The lord bellowed 

Evillache grimace. “I...I tried to get information from the 
warrior of Shentu but she’s too loyal and overprotective of him. 
I tried everything I could think of.” 

“What about the King and Queen?” 

Evillache bowed her head lower in fear. “I...I haven’t found 
them either.” 

The lord kept quiet for a while. “I’ll give you 48 hr. to find 
and get them. If you fail me...” He left his words hanging. 

“But my Lord that’s to soon...please give me more time please.” 

“Are disobeying my orders?” His voice grew more deadly. 

“N-no milord.”

“That stupid son of a bitch! Does he really think I can get the 
child in two days?” Evillache walked in the streets with a frown 
in her face. “Why doesn’t he come and search for him and tell me 
if it is as easy as he thinks.” 

She enters a school called Juuban High and scan the area for the 
child, but she came out empty. 

“DAMN IT! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!!!”

Kaishi, I want you to keep an eye on Evillache. If she fails kill her, 
and take over.” 

“Yes, milord.” A female voice cut out from the darkness. 

“We need all three of them out of the way. They are the only ones 
that can stop us, especially the queen. T need to know that it won’t 
be a problem. We almost have the city in our grasp. I don’t need 
them to screw it up.” The lord spoke. “Do what ever is necessary.” 

“Yes.”
