The Rescue: Chapter 3

The Sailor Scouts stood in a huddle against one another as the 1 
or more demons Sailor Galaxia created from stealing the Star Seeds 
from innocent victims continued to pound mercilessly against the 
Silence Wall that Sailor Saturn had made with her Silence Glaive. 
The wall suddenly began to weaken as Saturn's strength in her frail 
body began to fade due to the physical and emotional stress. 

"Come ON!" shouted Sailor Moon, looking around frantically at the 
Senshi and the demons, "Doesn't anyone have any ideas to get out 
of this? My power can only focus on one enemy, and this is more 
than even I can handle!" The Senshi leader tried to act brave, 
but inside, she was afraid and shaking. She was supposed to be 
the brave one, the leader, but right now, she didn't feel like 
a leader. 

Just then, Saturn lost her strength, and the force field disappeared 
completely as she fell exhausted to the ground, dropping the 
Silence Glaive beside her. "Sorry my friends!" she said weakly 
as the demons began to move closer. "It's up to the rest of you!" 
Her eyes closed, and she was then unconscious. Sailor Neptune gave 
a frightened gasp and knelt down near the fallen Soldier of Silence. 
Maternal instincts took over as the Soldier of the Seas gathered 
Saturn in her arms, and gently wiped away the sweat from her forehead. 

"That DOES it!!" shouted Sailor Uranus in rage, "I've had just 
about enough of your ugly faces!" It was bad enought that these 
monsters were attacking them as the Senshi was helpless, but to 
mess with the only other person she cared for besides Neptune was 
unforgivable. She loved and cared for Hotaru like no other child, 
and she was NOT about to let her get hurt while she had something 
to do about it. She stepped up fearlessly to the demons, who had now 
surrounded the Senshi, and raised her hand. "URANUS...WORLD SHAKING!" 
she shouted, and a massive ball of golden energy leapt from the sky 
into her hands. The Sky Senshi then slammed her hand to the ground in 
front of the demons. The power, shaped like the planet Uranus, leapt 
out, and crashed into the monsters. The massive energy and earthquake 
that followed caused several Anima-Mates to get knocked out badly and 
fall, but they quickly regrouped again, and advanced toward the senshi 
once more. 

One of the demons, yelling that its name was Sailor Wind Blower, 
stepped in front of the others and shot forth a massive power of wind 
energy at Sailor Uranus. It knocked into her heavily, then picked her 
up in the air about 20 ft as she screamed furiously, and dropped her 
hard on the cold colliseum ground, immediately rendering her unconscious. 

The Sailor Senshi screamed and shouted her name as Sailor Uranus dropped 
lifelessly before them. Never before had they seen such a cruel act, 
even when facing enemies they thought were the worse. Giving a horrified 
cry, Neptune placed Saturn in Sailor Mercury's arms, and raced over to 
where her partner for so long lay. When she felt a faint pulse when she 
checked her neck, Neptune gave a soft sigh of relief. Sailor Mars fixed 
the monster a hard stare, then stepped forward. "You must be NUTS if 
I'm going to let you do that to me!" the Fire Senshi said bravely. 
"MARS FLAME SNIPER!!" A bow and arrow made of pure fire energy appeared 
in her hands. She then shot a flaming streak of fire at the next demon 
who appeared after Wind Blower. 

The demon merely absorbed the energy into her body made enitrely of clay, 
barely causing her to blink. She laughed loudly, then stared at Mars. 
"Sailor Clay Face here says, time for you to take a LONG nap!" she smirked, 
then stretched out her clay arms. Sailor Mar's power was shot back out 
in a powerful stream of fire and energy. It hit Sailor Mars in the middle 
of her chest, and she flew back a few feet and went done in a grunt, 
knocked out cold. 

"MARS!" screamed Sailor Moon, rushing over to Sailor Mars and gathering 
her in her arms, Sailor Venus following behind her. The rest of the demons 
laughed coldly, while the Senshi desperately tried to wake Uranus and 
Mars, but in vain. They then stopped laughing, and started to moved even 
closer to them. Sailor Sirius, standing with Jupiter, balled her hands 
into fists. "This is just great!" Sailor Sirius thought angrily to herself, 
"My first battle WITH the Sailor Senshi, and I end up dying!" The demons 
was upon the Senshi now, and a big massive demon, made of steel, 
grabbed Sirius roughly by her shirt and picked her up off the floor. 
She screamed fearfully as Jupiter was knocked down by another Anima-Mates, 
but the demon just laughed evilly in her face. The Star Senshi began 
struggling against the demon, beating on his metal chest, but he then 
held her so tight around the neck, she was beginning to lose consciousness. 

"LEAVE HER ALONE!!" shouted a distant voice. There was a sound of snapping 
fingers, and suddenly, three ghostly figures walked out of the dense fog. 
They were dressed in black leather with long black gloves and long black 
boots that come up over their knees. A figure of white wings and stars 
adorned their chests. One had white blond hair, one brown, and the next 
black. 

"Just who the hell are YOU!" shouted the steel demon as he dropped 
Sailor Sirius roughly the ground. The Senshi of the Stars landed hard, 
and took a large gulp of air, then coughed heavily with her hand at 
her throat. It hurt like hell now. 

"We are the Guardians of Peace and Justice, and on the behalf of our 
galaxy, we WILL defeat you! We are the Sailor Star Lights!" shouted 
Sailor Star Fighter, her eyes flashing with excitement of a fight. 

Sirius narrowed her eyes as she watched the new arrivals, trying to 
figure out the feeling of recognition. Then, her eyes flew open as 
it finally dawned on her. "Oh my gosh!" thought Sailor Sirius, holding 
her throat, and gasping for breath, "Are they new scouts?" She heard 
the other senshi talk so much about them, but until now, she never saw 
them. She then looked at Sailor Star Healer more closely, while she was 
getting into a fighting stance with the other Star Lights. She gasped 
again, here eyes growing even wider. "The blonde-haired one looks 
just like....." Sirius shook her head, willing herself not to believe, 
but there it was, right in her face. "Can it be? ....YATEN!!!" she 
whispered unbelievingly.
