Isenor (sailor_sun_@hotmail.com) Note: Well here it is at long last, so please tell me what you think once you finish reading it. That would be a great help! Oh and speaking of help the creator of Sailor Sirius, Sharon, has been a big help with the first part of SMM and now withthe second part, she has helped me so much! Thank-you Sharon! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jessica walked over to her large queen sized bed. Into the large suitcase, which took up half of her bed, she placed the clothes, which she held in her hands. "Eclipse, I don't know how I will ever get through this? I'm going to be so far away, so far away from everything which I have grown to love." The red haired girl turned to face the doberman pincher, which lay at the foot of her bed quietly. His eyelids fluttered open slowly, he lifted his head gracefully and looked into Jessica's questioning blue eyes with his dark brown ones. "It won't be as bad as you are making it out to be. Your life will go back to normal, I remember when you talked like this to me before we moved to Japan, but the only thing different about this conversation was that I'm able to respond to your questions." "But Eclipse I don't want to leave, can't I stay here? Besides we aren't selling this house, can't I stay with the maids and the butler? I'm sure they wouldn't mind." Jessica walked over to her dresser and pulled out a couple of shorts. "Jessica, you know that you can't, you asked your parents that last night at dinner. Really though, you will be back here in less then four months if everything goes as planed." The black and brown dog stood up and stretched before he jumped onto the floor. "Why did my father have to get that job? And why does he have to drag all of us along? It really isn't fair." Jessica walked over to her closet and took out a hand full of hangers with cloths hanging from them. "Jessica, how could you say such a thing, you should be proud of your father for getting a deal like this! And you want to know something else?" The dog paused and waited until Jessica had turned to face him. "He is doing this for you, your mother, your brother and your sister. He is doing this because he loves you." "I know that, but what if Serena and the others need my help? What if a new evil comes to threaten earth again? I'll be over in little old Nova Scotia, Canada! There will be no way for me to lend them a helping hand!" Eclipse shook his head. "I wish there was something that I could do or say, but there is nothing. This can't be changed, and you know that. You should also try to make the best out of this situation." Jessica nodded her head somberly and walked over to the window. She pulled aside the curtains and peered out the window into the garden below. Tears began to flow down her cheeks as she remembered what happened there last night. There in that garden Kevin and herself said their good-byes and shared their last kiss for four long months. *^*^*^*^* Flashback . . . "Jessica I don't want you to think about me too much okay." Kevin put his hands upon Jessica's pale cheeks. He gently tilted her head so she was looking up into his eyes. She cleared her throat. "You know that I won't be able to do that, I will always think of you, every waking minute." A forced smile spread across her face, it slowly faded. Now wasn't a time to joke, she just wanted to be in Kevin's arms forever. She didn't want him to ever let her go. "I love you." Kevin looked down into Jessica's eyes. His eyes showed that he did truly love her, more then anything in the world. That is when the tears came, they all came at once, pouring down her cheeks like a rushing river which just broke through its dam. "And I love you." Jessica smiled, not a forced smile but the happiest smile, which had ever graced her face. She could feel her cheeks beginning to blush because of the loved filled intense gaze which Kevin was giving her. Kevin continued to stare in awe at the beautiful being which stood before him. He leaned forward, he pressed his soft lips against Jessica's cherry red lips. The kiss was long and passionate. The tears still ran down Jessica's face, not only were they tears of sadness now, they were also tears of joy. Tears had also started to make their way down Kevin's cheeks, onto his already damp shirt. *^*^*^*^* Jessica turned from the window, she held her head down, to make sure that Eclipse didn't see her wet eyes. "I won't see Kevin for four months." Jessica said in a very quivering voice. "What do you mean? Is he not coming to see you off at the airport? Eclipse asked as he walked over to Jessica's side. Jessica shook her head no. "I . . . I asked him not to come, it would be too much on me, we . . .we already said our good-byes last night after he walked me home from Serena house." Jessica quickly walked over to the bathroom and entered, there she grabbed a towel off the counter and tried her best to wipe away her tears. Eclipse hung his head low as he walked over to Jessica's side. He sat at her feet on the floor, the dog looked up into Jessica's eyes with his sorrow filled eyes. "I know I can't imagine the pain which you are going through right now, but I can try my best to comfort you, if you will allow me to do so." A small smile escaped Jessica's lips for a split second. She then fell to her knees and wrapped her arms around the dog, the tears came again, soaking Eclipse's sleek black fur. The big dog snuggled in closer to Jessica's body. * * * * * 'Alright this is it.' Jessica thought to herself as she stepped through the large glass doors to the Tokyo Airport. 'Here I go, I can't turn back now, I have to continue to step forward.' It took every bit of will power Jessica had in herself to step forward and follow her family through the crowded airport. "Come along Jessica." Jessica's mother turned to face her daughter once she had realized that Jessica had gotten quite a bit behind. "You don't want to get lost in here! Now come along we have to go find out if our plane is still on time." Jessica's mother walked on ahead with her husband and two younger children. Bringing up the rear was Jessica. Jessica picked up her pace a little. She looked around at all the people with a blank face. 'I wonder if they had to leave their home, everything that they loved?' Jessica asked to herself as her parents made their way to the screen boards. "It's still on time everyone!" Mr. Walker turned to look at Jessica; a big smile was on his face, his voice was eager. "We should make our way down gate 211." The tall man turned and took his wife's small hand in his. "Come on dear, here we go." The couple smiled at each other, then they all continued west towards gate 211. Jessica continued on uneasily towards gate 211. Her arms and legs were tense. A familiar presence was then felt around her. Jessica spun around quickly; she scanned the area with her eyes, nothing. A deep disappointed sigh escaped her lips as she turned back and followed her parents to the boarding runway. Jessica tried to take another step but she found that she couldn't go any further, something was holding her back. She went to turn around and a pair of hands made their way across her eyes. "Guess who?" A well-known voice came from the owner of the hands, which blocked Jessica's vision. A small smile spread across her lips, she quickly spun around. The hands were taken of her face, and when Jessica opened her eyes she was greeted by the kind blue eyes of Kevin. "W . . . what, what are you doing here? I thought that we had already said our good-byes las . . ." Kevin placed a single finger upon Jessica's lips to keep her from talking. "I had to, I couldn't sit at home while you got on a plane to go away for four months. I came because I love you Jessica." Kevin leaned forward and gave Jessica a big hug. She tried so hard to hold back her tears, but she couldn't stop them, they came so quickly, soaking Kevin's white shirt. "Don't cry, there is no need, I will see you hopefully in less then four months I'll try to come down really soon for a week or more." Kevin kissed Jessica on her cheeks and wiped away the tears. "I have another surprise for you." Kevin stepped off to the side, and behind him where he had just stood, there was the smiling faces of Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, Mina and Molly. Once everyone had said his or her good-byes again, Jessica turned and walked through the metal detector. 'Oh I hope it doesn't pick up on my transformation medallion.' Jessica prayed to herself as she stepped through. She then followed many other people through the luggage x-rays, then lastly down the covered walkway which lead her to the plane. Jessica felt a lot better now, she sat down in her seat and slowly dozed off into a deep sleep. * * * * * "Everyone please prepare for landing, make sure your seat is in an upright position, your seat belts are on and that you have your food trays put up. Thank-you, and I hope you enjoyed your flight." The voice of the flight attendant rang through the PA system of the airplane. Jessica slowly opened her eyes, she was greeted with the smiling face of her little brother. "Hi Jon, did you enjoy the flight?" Jessica asked as she rubbed her tired eyes. "It was kind of boring, but it was funny watching you drool on you sleeve." The cute little brown haired six-year-old smiled down at his older sister. "You lie I didn't do that!" Jessica said as she quickly sat up and looked at the sleeve of her coat. "Yeah your right, but I thought it would get you up! Come on we have to go and get Eclipse, he must be really bored, he had to sit in a cage the whole plane ride." Jon smiled again, showing his teeth this time. He had several gaps between his teeth, he continues to lose more teeth each week. "Oh poor Eclipse, I almost forgot!" Jessica stood up and grabbed her bag from the side of her seat. She then stepped out into the aisle and followed the other passengers out of the airplane, down a covered walkway into the airport. "What a nice little airport, you won't have to worry about getting lost here Jessica if you decided to drag your feet." Jessica's little sister Hannah turned to face her sister. The little blonde haired eleven-year-old stuck out her tongue. Jessica stuck out hers in return. "Come on you two stop, and get your butts over here, we have to get our baggage, and poor Eclipse." Mrs. Walker stepped up to the baggage terminal. When the crate with Eclipse came over Mr. Walker lifted it off and set it onto the baggage cart. Jessica knelt down and looked into the crate at the poor dog trapped inside. * * * * * "So Eclipse how did you like your trip?" Jessica asked as she opened her suitcase and started unpacking everything into her new dresser. She turned to look at the dog that hadn't moved since he had entered the room. Eclipse lifted his head and looked at Jessica. "Next time we have to go on a plane, you can go in the crate, and I'll sit up in first class seats. Then you can tell me how you thought the flight was." The dog let his head drop onto his paws. Jessica just smiled and walked over to Eclipse. She patted him on the back. "Silly boy." She leaned over and kissed the dog on his brow. "Have a well deserved sleep." * * * * * Jessica tossed and turned in her new bed. Her sheets had managed to get tangled around her legs. During the night at some point she had kicked off her large blanket. Words could be heard in her ears, Jessica opened her eyes halfheartedly. The figure of her mother came into focus. "Come on dear, it is time for you to get up out of bed, you don't want to be late for school, oh and I've got some good news for you. At your new school you won't be the only new student there, I have found out that there is an exchange student program going on." Jessica turned to her side away from her mother. "Maybe you will become some of the new students friends and when you go back to Japan, they also might be going, I heard something about that. Anyway get up out of bed." Mrs. Walker walked over to the door. "Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes." She left the room. Jessica heaved the sheets off of her body and walked over and grabbed her housecoat off the back of her door. She turned back and looked around her room for Eclipse, he wasn't in the room. She then stepped out into the hall. * * * * * "Welcome students, today is the first day back at the Halifax Grammar School, I'm glad that so many of you have bright glowing faces. And eager minds ready to learn." Groans came from all of the students that sat in the red seats of the auditorium. "Well at least I got a reaction out of you kids on this fine September morning." The principal stood up on the stage. The principal was a tall man, he had bright green eyes, dark skin, brown hair and a gleaming smile. He looked as if he were in the age zone of mid twenties. Jessica sat in the middle of the auditorium surrounded by new faces. She looked around trying to pick out different people's personalities. The principal spoke again. "I know you must all be wondering who I am, because I am new here as some of you are. My name is Principal Andrews. And now that you know my name, I'm sure I will come to know your names soon enough." Small conversations could be heard around Jessica. Some she paid attention to, others she couldn't care less, she tried to find out people's names, it didn't work too well. "Oh and a couple more things before I send you off to your homerooms, first off as some of you may already know there are some exchange students from schools all over the world. There are two students from each of the following countries, USA, South America, Great Britain, and Australia." Conversations broke out all over the place, people looked around trying to find the new students in the crowd of people. Jessica tried to slip away from the staring eyes that had locked on her. "And lastly, there are new uniforms for everyone, you will learn more about that in your homerooms." Principal Andrews smiled and began to call names off of a list. Once Jessica heard her name called she walked to where her homeroom teacher stood. She could feel everyone's eyes on her. She took deep breaths as she tried to escape all of the eyes around her. * * * * * Jessica found a free desk in the middle of her new homeroom. She stared out of the window, off in her own dream world. Her thought was broken by the strong voice of her homeroom teacher. "I'm Mr. Mason, and I can see some old faces of people that I taught art in grade nine last year. There is also a hand full of new faces." The teacher looked right at Jessica and then turned to some others. Jessica tried to slouch down in her desk, to get away from he teacher's eyes. "You the young red head, can you stand up in the front of the class and please tell us a bit about yourself." Mr. Mason stepped aside and made way for Jessica. 'Why me?' She asked as she stepped up in the front of the class. She stood there silent as she rocked back and forth on her feet. "Well my name is Jessica Walker, I just moved here from Tokyo, Japan. I'm 15, and I really enjoy to draw." Jessica turned towards her teacher. "Thank-you Jessica, I'm sure that will be enough, you may go sit down in your seat now. I think I have another student that I'll call up in front of the class." Jessica quickly walked down the aisle and sat down in her seat. "Excuse me, you the one with the shoulder length blonde hair." A girl looked up startled, she almost fell out of her desk. The class started laughing, except for Jessica. 'I know how you feel.' Jessica shook her head and then followed the girl with her eyes until she stood in front of the class. The girl looked to be around the height of 5'9. Her hair was shoulder length and a very light blonde color. Her hair was straight around the back, in the front it is cut to her chin, it then went down on a diagonal slant to be level with the rest of her hair. Her part was down the middle. Her small blue eyes darted around the room nervously. Her skin was a medium ivory color, which matched perfectly with her light hair. "Hi everyone, I'm Alissa John, I moved here from Glasgow, Scotland. I went to a private school there. My favorite past time would be horseback riding." The nervous girl walked past Jessica and gave her a quick glance then went and sat in her seat. Mr. Mason called up a few more students to the front of the class that were from the exchange student program. Once he was done bugging the new kids he gave out a course outline sheet and talked up in front of the class for the next half-hour about his expectations and the new uniforms. Finally the bell rang and the students shoved the papers into their book bags and made their way out of the classroom. * * * * * "Finally lunch." Jessica plopped down on the ground under a large maple tree. She ripped open her lunch bag and pulled out a honey sandwich. "I wish Serena were here, she always asked for a bite of my sandwich." A deep sigh escaped her mouth. "Can I sit here?" Jessica turned her head in the direction of the voice, it was Alissa. She leaned up against the tall maple tree. "I can find somewhere else to sit if you don't want me here." The girl said shyly. "Oh no, don't go. You can sit down Alissa." Jessica slid over on the grass. Alissa sat down hesitantly; she turned and smiled at Jessica. "So how is your first day? I got lost so many times I lost count." The two girls shared a giggle. "Other then walking around the halls most of the day I think everything went pretty well." Alissa pulled out a small carton of chocolate milk and a small salad. "Yeah I got lost a couple times myself, I thought that I was going to be the only new kid here, but my mom told me about the exchange student program." Jessica took a bite out of her sandwich. "This school is a lot bigger then my last school that is for sure." Jessica said as she took another bite out of her sandwich. "So what classes did you take?" "Lets see, I took art, science, gym, math, geography, drama and english and computer." Alissa turned to look at Jessica. "What about you?" "I took all of the same, except I took history instead of geography. Maps really aren't my thing, I never did like it." It went silent for a minute. "So what is Japan like? I've always wanted to go there when I get enough money saved up." Alissa set her salad down and turned towards Jessica, her eyes were eager and questioning. Jessica smiled a soft smile. "Now this is something I can go on about for hours." The two girls spent the rest of lunch talking about their old schools, friends, boy friends, and what they would do in their free time. Jessica did leave out the part about being a sailor scout, even though she almost blurted it out a couple of times, she felt like she could talk to Alissa about anything and everything. * * * * * "Well at least that is over." Jessica walked down the street towards her house. "Now where is that dog?" Jessica looked around for the big familiar animal. "He said he would meet me here at 2:30 and it is that time now." She glanced down at her watch. A loud bark startled her, she quickly turned, and there stood Eclipse. "Don't do that!" Jessica put her hand to her chest and breathed in deeply. "Why do you insist on doing that? I was ready to pull out my transformation medallion!" Eclipse snickered to himself under his breath. "Sorry, I was just testing your reflexes. You haven't been yourself since Sailor Sun has somewhat been "retired". You should probably stop caring around that medallion of yours, what if you drop it and someone finds it?" The dog tilted his big black head to the side. Jessica tilted her head off to the side. 'I'm not retired am I?' She asked herself. A sad look spread across her face as she turned to look at her guardian dog. Eclipse's ears pricked up swiftly. Jessica went quite as she looked at the dog with questioning eyes. Eclipse turned his head in the direction of the close by mall. "I don't think Sailor Sun may have been retired just yet." A smile spread across Jessica's face, she skimmed the area quickly with her eyes, she then pulled out her transformation medallion and held it above her head. "SOLARIS STAR . . . . . POWER!" Jessica then closed her eyes. The Solaris Medallion disappeared into many little orange and gold sparkles this caused her body to shimmer the colors of the sparkles as they fell onto her body. Then her silver tiara appeared with the red jewel in the center. The jewel then emitted a blinding flash of orange light that surrounded Jessica giving her the feel of the bright morning sun on her body. Then a swirl of orange and gold sparkles warped around her body moving upward as it spun around her body. The body suit of her uniform then appeared. And the bows came out of the heart in the center of her chest. Sparkling golden rings then went around her feet forming boots. Then more sparkling rings went around her arms forming her gloves. Soon afterward the golden sparkles went around her waist forming her skirt. At that point there was a large burst of golden sparkles that flew up into the air, when the sparkles fell to the ground Sailor Sun was then reveled fully transformed. She did her transformation pose. She stood there with one hand across her forehead and the other across her stomach with her legs together. Her long red hair then blew to the side. "Now Sailor Sun, I don't want you to go . . ." Sailor Sun made a high jump over the wall and made a mad dash towards the mall. "Barging in." Eclipse said to himself as he followed the scout. * * * * * "I want your Heart Stone now, so hand it over!" A female figure stood over a poor woman who was curled up in a ball, trying to block herself from the monster, which stood over her. Sailor Sun jumped up to the window and peered through, she looked at the figure standing over the woman. "What do we have here?" Sailor Sun asked herself out loud as she peered down inspecting the enemy. The new enemy was tall, she had ice blue hair with white streaks throughout it, the hair went down to the middle of her back. Around her neck she had a choker, and in the center was a really weird symbol. The monster had no clothes, but it did have dark blue fur that covered her chest like a bikini top, there was also fur around her bottom half, which resembled a bikini bottom. She had long sharp claws protruding from her fingertips. "Now I shall have your Heart Stone!" The monster put her opened hand to the woman's chest, it began to glow a icy blue color, then this pale blue heart shaped crystal came out from the woman's chest. The monster clenched the Heart Stone in her hand. "Okay I've seen enough!" Sailor Sun jumped through the window, glass fell down towards the monster. She looked up and spread out her wings trying to block the falling glass with her dragon like wings, which were hidden before. "I am the sailor scout of the red star the sun, fighting for all within the sol system! With the flames of the sun, and the power of fire, prepare to burn because I will punish you!" Sailor Sun jumped down and landed in front of the enemy. "So you are the one who broke that window, I never knew that beings like you were here on this planet, this could slow things down, but no matter it shouldn't take long to destroy you. For I, Kasumi, should have no problem." Kasumi snapped her fingers and the woman who was laying on the floor rose to her feet, her eyes were black as the night, no emotion was on her face, she staggered towards Sailor Sun. The woman fell to the floor at Sailor Sun's feet, her body began to grow a deep blue color. Sailor Sun stepped back cautiously. A blinding flash of light came from the woman's body. Sailor Sun covered her eyes, once the light had died down a figure of a monster similar to Kasumi now stood before Sailor Sun. "SUN FIRE BEAM . . . . . BURN!" She then put her hands together as if she were going to pray. She closed her eyes and slowly lifted her hands towards the ceiling. Her hair began to blow fiercely around her. There was be a bright flash of golden and orange light, which caused her body to shimmer, then a large golden fireball spun around her body then turned as her head did towards the new enemy. When it reached the monster, the fireball spun around her a couple of times and each time the fireball was getting closer to her skin, burning it. The monster just smiled and raised her hands in front of her face, a snowball began to form in the palm of her hand. The monster looked up and smiled again, she lightly blew at the snow in her hand. Sailor Sun tried to block the oncoming snow, which had turned into a blizzard. It hit the sailor scout hard, Sailor Sun shivered as she ran her hands over her bare arms trying to get more heat into her body. "How?" Sailor Sun asked shocked. She continued to look at the monster, which stood before her with baffled eyes. 'What to do, what to do?' Sailor Sun asked herself over and over. Then it hit her. Sailor Sun jumped over the monster and landed on her back, causing her to fall to the ground, she then turned to Kasumi. "Hand over that Heart Stone!" Sailor Sun put out her open hand. "Do you think that I will give you this just like that?" Kasumi asked with a very stuck up look on her face. "No I didn't." Sailor Sun smiled and looked behind Kasumi, this caused the monster to spin around in alarm. Sailor Sun then kicked Kasumi's hand and knocked the Heart Stone out of her hand, it flew up in the air. Sailor Sun and Kasumi followed it with their eyes, it was going to smash on the floor, neither of them could get to it in time. Then a black figure jumped out of the shadows and caught the Heart Stone. Sailor Sun smiled then ran over to where the figure disappeared. "Thanks Eclipse, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you." Sailor Sun leaned down and hugged the dog, she then grabbed the Heart Stone out of his mouth. "I've got to go and save that poor woman, after I beat some bad guy butt." The red haired scout ran out to where the poor woman who was still in the monster form lay. "Alright Kasumi, it is time that you meet your maker!" Sailor Sun stepped out bravely. Kasumi was nowhere to be seen, the woman just lay on the floor. Sailor Sun did one last search around the room for Kasumi. "Eclipse how will we get this Heart Stone back into this woman?" Sailor Sun turned to face the dog. "Try placing it to her chest and concentrating your power." Sailor Sun did as the dog said, then after using up most of her power the Heart Stone disappeared into the body of the woman and she transformed back into her human self. * * * * * "I think that I will have to build you a new item, to aid you with this new enemy. There has to be an easier way of getting the Heart Stones back into the former host. Without using up most of your energy." Eclipse paced back and forth in Jessica new bedroom. 'What are Heart Stones? Could they be the person's heart or their soul? Why do they want them? Who is Kasumi? Why is she here? Where are my friends when I need them the most?' Jessica asked herself the same questions over and over as she stared out her bedroom window off into the distance.
