Sailor Moon Millenium - The Rise of the Stellar Scouts Chapter # 5 - Premonitions Repeated : The Beginning Of The End - Created April 17th, 2000 By K.W. Isenor (sailor_sun_@hotmail.com) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Awaken? What is that supposed to mean?" Kevin walked out of his bathroom, around his waist was a yellow towel, his hair was dripping with water. In his right hand he held a toothbrush. He walked over to his bed and pulled a pare of jeans off and brought them into the bathroom. "So I'm supposed to help Princess Cassandra Solaris, Sailor Sun, Jessica, awaken the other four warriors, whom are much like Jessica, they are also princesses from the past." Kevin shook his head as he began to brush his teeth. 'How am I supposed to help her when I'm over here in Japan and she is in Canada?' Kevin pounded to himself. 'This is all so confusing!' He rinsed off his toothbrush and set in on his bathroom counter. Taking a quick drink of water he grabbed a towel from the back of his door and began to dry his soaked hair. "Why do I always get stuck with these stupid premonitions? I'm always left wondering what they mean, why I have them, and what to do about them." Kevin questioned himself, knowing that he wouldn't get an answer to all of the questions running through his head. Kevin exited the bathroom and threw the towel, which he used to dry his hair into the laundry basket. He walked over and changed into his clothes behind a changing screen. He came around, he wore his favorite pare of faded blue jeans. He wore a plan black T-shirt then over that was a black and white over-shirt. "Off to work I go." He mumbled as he walked over to his dresser, pulled the brush off and ran it through his hair. "Perfect." He set the brush down beside the picture of Jessica. A small smile spread across his lips. 'I miss you so much Jessica, I wonder if you miss me too?' Kevin kissed his fingers then placed his fingers on the glass of the picture frame. He quickly turned from the picture and walked over to the door, he grabbed a coat from the hanger's behind the door in the small closet. Slipping on his shoes he left his apartment and locked the door. * * * * * "I miss Kevin so much!" Jessica sighed then lay back down on the grass beside Alissa. "I wonder if he thinks about me still. Or maybe he has forgot about me!" With that Jessica sat up quickly and looked down at her friend who was obviously trying not to giggle. "Listen Jessica, of what you have told me about Kevin, you won't have to worry about him forgetting you. Both of you have a strong bond, nothing will ever come between that!" Alissa said in her reassuring Scottish voice. "Yeah your right." Jessica said relived as she lay back down on the grass beside her friend. "So when are you going to show me how to ride?" Jessica looked over at the pasture with the six horses grazing on the lush green grass, occasionally they would flick their tales to get ride of the flies. "Well not today because the blacksmith has to come sometime this week before the weekend and give all the horses new shoes. And they really need them!" Alissa sat up and looked over at the horses. "That's fine, no big hurry." "Well I probably can take you out this weekend sometime. There are a couple of trails that I am dying to try out. And maybe if you don't scare the horses." Alissa stopped and smiled. Jessica stuck her tongue out in reply. "I can show you how to jump!" "Really!?" Excitement began to fill her voice. "That would be the best! And that sounds a lot better then helping my mom garden. She has this obsession with flowers! She wants to have a garden here just like she did back in Japan." Jessica groaned. "My mom is like that, she has so many flowers, shrubs, and trees back home in Scotland." At the mention of her old home she continued on softly. "When you walk out of the back porch door, your nose is filled with all the different smells of the blooming flowers that took up a good part of the back yard." Alissa paused again and breathed in deeply. "Then the smell of all the flowers was mixed with the sweet smell of fresh hay from the barn off to the side." "Like the smell of hay here?" Jessica asked trying to get off the topic of Alissa's home slowly. Alissa took a deep breath through her nose. "Yup, pretty much like the smell that surround us now." "I love it here. It doesn't even seem like we are in the city! More like the countryside, with all of the farm smells that surround us. It is so peaceful, I hate living in the city. It is too loud and crowded." Jessica stretched out on the green grass. "It is really going to be something up here in the fall." Alissa nodded her head eagerly in agreement. "With all of these big oak and maple trees it is going to be extremely colorful!" "Girls supper!" Jessica and Alissa turned their heads towards the house. Quickly standing up and running towards the back door. As soon as they entered the house a sweet aroma filled their senses. "Something smells really good!" Alissa said as she sat on the bench behind the table, Jessica followed. "It smells like lasagna and apple pie!" "That's what we are having! Doesn't it smell wonderful?" Mrs. Edward asked as she pulled the freshly baked apple pie out of the over and set it on the counter to cool. "Wonderful!? It is magnificent Mrs. Edward!" Jessica pointed out with glee in her voice. "Why Alissa, you definitely know how to pick out the polite friends." Mr. Edward stated as he entered the kitchen taking his place at the table to the right of Jessica and Alissa. Jessica smiled at the comment. "Why thank-you Mr. And Mrs. Edward for having me for supper. I am very grateful." Jessica said as she scooped a plateful of lasagna onto her plate. "No problem dear, besides your parents are out for a good part of the week with the kids to soccer competitions for both your younger siblings. We don't mind, really." Mrs. Edward smiled as she sat down across from her husband. "You can come up here any time, think of this like another home for you." Mr. Edward said in an encouraging voice. Jessica smiled back and began to eat her meal with everyone else. * * * * * "Emperor, I managed to get a Heart Stone this time. I managed to distract Sailor Sun long enough for me to steal the Heart Stone from that poor store owner who now lays in a hospital bed unconscious." Kasumi stepped forward proudly, she did the customary bow with her arm over her chest. "So you managed to keep one this time. It is about time." His voice didn't sound pleased. 'Ungrateful much!' Kasumi thought to herself as she started to get a bit nervous standing in front of the Emperor. She stood there biting on her lower lip. "But at least I got one." Kasumi said trying to ease the tension that was going on between the Emperor and herself. "Yes at least you got one, now give it here." Emperor Valico held out his hand to Kasumi. She stepped up carefully and placed the pink Heart Stone in Emperor Valico's hand. He clenched it tightly in his red hand. He held it so tightly that his long sharp black nails almost sliced into his skin. "So this is the Heart Stone that you got. You are dismissed, and I will move your rank up since you did such a good job here! Now leave me to examine this." Emperor Valico continued to look down at the Heart Stone, which he held in his hand. Kasumi nodded, she had a smug smile on her face as she backed up and disappeared in a cloud of icy cold mist. Emperor Valico turned and walked over to the fountain. Lightly touching the water with a nail from his left hand, the figure of the beast appeared. Climbing out of the murky water stood the dog like beast. It stretched what looked like wings from its back. A yawn passed through its teeth. "What is it Valico? Really, I was having such a pleasant dream of destroying all those stupid humans above." The beast walked over and sat on the floor near the Emperor's "throne" which was basically a pile of bricks, which were situated like a chair. Then on the seat was a red cushion. "Oh and you had better get a designer in here, because this place is so dull, come on live like royalty, instead of hiding in the shadows, get more light, furniture and heating." The beast shivered. "So lets see this Heart Stone." The beast talked, not even looking to the Emperor. He sat there staring off into the darkness. When he didn't get a response from Valico he turned his head to look at the cloaked man. "Well?" Emperor Valico quickly held out his hand before the beast eyes. The animal looked at the object before him. "Well it is a Heart Stone, now we have to figure out if it is one of the needed ones." "And how would we do that?" Emperor Valico asked curiously as he stared down at the beast before him. "Bring it to the fountain." The beast walked over and dipped his claw into the murky water, a small paw like object rose out of the water. The "paw" hand three claws, in the center was a weird symbol. "Place the Heart Stone there." The beast indicated the "paw". Emperor Valico did as he was commanded, carefully placing the Heart Stone in the center of the "paw". There was a bright flash of pink light then everything faded back to the dark that had surrounded them before. "Well is it?" Emperor Valico asked quickly. The beast didn't say anything for sometime. Then he broke the silence with a deep growl in his throat, Emperor Valico backed away quickly, the beast turned and yelled in reply. "NO!" He lunged at Emperor Valico, pining him to the ground. "I suggest you had better find one of the six Heart Stones before I kill you!" The beast walked off into the shadows, disappearing into the fountain. Emperor Valico sat on the cold damp floor breathing deeply. The Heart Stone appeared in front of his face. He reached up and held it in his hand. "Well this is no longer needed!" With that he threw it into the air, and it disappeared. * * * * * "Eclipse you were right! The Heart Stone that Kasumi stole from the store owner wasn't one of the six!" Jessica ran over to the dog and wrapped her arms around his thick neck. "It's on the TV right now, that the poor victim is awake and recovering!" Jessica danced around her room with the dog's big paws in her hands, the dog found it hard to stay on balance. "Yes Jessica, I knew that. But can I please go back down on all fours now?" He asked as he stumbled to the floor as Jessica let go of his paws. "Thank-you." He shook his body to make all of his ruffled fur go back to its normal spot. "So what are we going to do now? We have to find out why they want the Heart Stones. That is the biggest problem that we face right now!" Jessica said as she stopped dancing and sat on the floor across from Eclipse. "Yes Jessica, that is what we have to figure out right now, and then there is also the topic of your reoccurring dream. We must begin the search for the other scouts." "Scouts, you really think there are more scouts? Alright no more getting my butt kicked all alone!" "Yes that, and you will be made much stronger, and once all of the scouts are found this mystery of these Heart Stones and the new villain will be solved." Jessica nodded her head. "Mum, hum." She mumbled. "I have started to create a program that should help us find out who these carriers of the six Heart Stones are, and who are the possibilities of the Sailor Scouts are. But that part will have to come up later." Eclipse walked over to the computer. "I'll show you what I have gotten down so far, and you will have to learn how to navigate your way through this on your own." Jessica sighed. "I never know how to do anything with computer's, I can't even turn them on at school." Her face flushed the many colors of red in embarrassment. Eclipse rolled his eyes. "You had better pull up a chair, because we could be here for awhile!" * * * * * Jessica stretched as she sat up in her bed, she was still wearing the same clothes as last night. The computer screen was still on, flashing. Eclipse lay on the floor beside the window, the morning sun tried to peak through the curtains. Looking over at the alarm clock, Jessica jumped out of bed. "Just great I forgot to set the alarm last night!" The worried red head dashed around her room picking up various articles of clothing. "I don't even have time for a shower." She groaned as she ran into the bathroom to get changed. Emerging a few moments later fully dressed in her new school uniform, she ran over and stood in front of her full-length mirror. Making sure that there were no creases in her uniform. Quickly dashing over to her dresser she pulled the elastic out of her hair, her long red hair fell onto her back. Running a brush through quickly then putting it back into it's usual ponytail style she set the brush down and ran down the stairs grabbing her shoulder bag resting by the closet door. "Got to go mom, no breakfast for me today!" Jessica called as she ran out the door making her way along her street as fast as her legs would allow, as she turned around the corner she came to a stop as she saw her bus drive down the street towards her school. "Oh great, now I have to walk three and a half long blocks to school!" Jessica heaved a deep sigh. "Oh well what can you do?" She asked herself as she walked down the street. Passing by many small homes and the odd store, Jessica finally came to the small brick Elementary School. Small children played on the playground running around having fun. "Oh to be a small child again, when you didn't have to worry about anything, not even getting to school on time, your parents would do everything for you." Jessica thought out loud as she walked along the outside fence of the playground. "A monster!" One of the small children called, not paying any attention to the little kids cry for remembering when she used to play silly make believe games with her friends. She didn't start paying attention until a dozen or more screams filled her ears. Jessica quickly turned to see Kasumi standing in the middle of the playground, in her right hand she held a small boy, the boy looked as if he were in grade one. Jessica's eyes grew wide once she noticed the small boy in Kasumi's clutches. "Jon!" Jessica called as she jumped into the close by bushes. Looking around carefully to make sure no one was looking Jessica pulled her transformation medallion out of her pocket. "SOLARIS STAR . . . . . POWER!" Jessica then closed her eyes. The Solaris Medallion disappeared into many little orange and gold sparkles, this caused her body to shimmer the colors of the sparkles as they fell onto her body. Then her silver tiara appeared with the red jewel in the center. The jewel then emitted a blinding flash of orange light that surrounded Jessica giving her the feeling of the bright morning sun on her body. Then a swirl of orange and gold sparkles warped around her body moving upward as it spun around her body. The body suit of her uniform then appeared. And the bows came out of the heart in the center of her chest. Sparkling golden rings then went around her feet forming boots. Then more sparkling rings went around her arms forming her gloves. Soon afterward the golden sparkles went around her waist forming her skirt. At that point there was a large burst of golden sparkles that flew up into the air, when the sparkles fell to the ground Sailor Sun was then revealed fully transformed. She did her transformation pose. She stood there with one hand across her forehead and the other across her stomach with her legs together. Her long red hair then blew to the side. Kasumi put her hand to Jon's chest, the little frightened boy began to scream as he got a horrible pain in his chest, as it started to glow pink tears rolled down his cheeks. "I am the sailor scout of the red star the sun, fighting for all within the sol system! With the flames of the sun, and the power of fire, prepare to burn because I will punish you!" Sailor Sun jumped out of the bushes and landed in front of Kasumi. Jon's face lit up with hope, but the tears still flowed strongly. "Sa . . . Sailor Sun." The little boy managed to mumble between sobs. "Kasumi you have gone too far this time! Attacking a poor little boy whom has no defense! For this you shall feel the power of the sun!" Sailor Sun got into her fighting pose, then looking over at Jon she winked. A small smile spread across his face for a few moments. Kasumi glared at Sailor Sun with rage filled eyes. "Why do you always have to show up? Shouldn't someone like you be in school right now?" She complained. "It's because I know your every move Kasumi!" Sailor Sun lied. Kasumi got a shocked look upon her face. "My, my every move?! You're lying!" She yelled in reply. "Oh am I? Then how come I always turn up when you decide to attack? Answer that one for me!" Sailor Sun pointed out. "I . . . I don't know." She responded softly. "And I don't care!" She added, starting to get her composure back. "Enough with this small talk! Time to take care of a pest!" Kasumi flew up into the air still holding Jon. Once she obtained the Heart Stone she threw the boy to the ground. With some quick thinking Sailor Sun jumped up onto the slide and grabbed Jon. "Good catch, now see if you can catch this!" Kasumi yelled from high above. Sailor Sun set Jon down in the bushes and turned to face Kasumi, she was greeted with a ball of mist heading straight towards her face. Putting her arms up as if to block the attack. Sailor Sun suddenly felt her body go numb with cold. She stood there shivering from the extremely cold mist that had wrapped around her body. Kasumi let out a laugh of triumph. "Is it just a bit too cold for the Sailor Scout of the sun?" Kasumi asked smugly. Sailor Sun continued to stand there shaking. "Oh and did I forget to mention that what you are feeling now is only the beginning of the attack?!" She added. 'I must get enough strength to use an attack.' Sailor Sun thought to herself as her body continued to shake fiercely. She looked at her fingertips, they were beginning to form icicles. "Now is the part that your body will slowly freeze over, and the only thing I have to do would be to come over there when you are an ice cube and flick it with my finger. Then you will crumble into little pieces, and there will be no more Sailor Sun." Kasumi continued to hover above the playground. "What a shame." She added. "Not . . . not t . . . today Kas . . . Kasumi." Sailor Sun replied softly as she slowly lifted her head straight up looking towards the sun, which shone, brightly above. "SUN PLASMA . . . . . AWAKEN!" As she continued to look upward towards the sun, her legs were apart. She begins to lift her arms from her sides and cross them across her chest, closing her eyes, she throws her arms to her side. A glowing of golden energy can be seen within her stomach, the energy moves over her body, heading upward towards her head and downward to her toes. Her eyes abruptly open as the golden energy passes by, inside her eyes is the image of the burning sun. She flicks her head to the side then back upright, her hair instantly takes on the form of fire. The golden energy now surrounds her like a great flame. A small smile spreads across her lips, she puts her hands together at the palms and raises them above her head. Within the palm of her hand a small replica of the sun formed, growing in size. Once it fit perfectly in her hand she moved her arms down quickly so they were bent at the elbows, now pointing on a slant towards Kasumi. She abruptly moves her hands forward releasing the plasma ball. The ball goes straight towards Kasumi, growing in size the closer it got. It moved with such speed that Kasumi couldn't move out to the way. Becoming engulfed in the plasma ball, she screamed in pain. Sailor Sun stood there breathing deeply, all the ice had melted away, and the mist had been evaporated. The golden glow that still surrounded Sailor Sun slowly faded away, as did the fire in which her hair hand been engulfed in before. Kasumi's screams could still be heard from behind the plasma ball that was still growing around her. Sailor Sun stood up straight, she looked around the playground making sure that no one students were around. 'Safe for now.' A relived sigh passed past her lips. The plasma ball died down, Kasumi fell to the ground hard, all over her body were scorch marks, she had a few burn holes in her wings. She groaned in pain. Sailor Sun stepped cautiously towards the fallen Kasumi. "I guess you won't be able to make me an ice cube today or any other day." Sailor Sun looked down at the fallen foe. "You may have gotten me this time Sailor Sun, but I'm afraid that the next to come along will be much stronger then I am believe it or not. So I wouldn't be so full of yourself if I were you, because this is just the beginning of the end." Kasumi said smugly in her last few moments. With one more groan of pain her body slowly disintegrated starting from the top, moving down ward. The Heart Stone which she had clutched in her hand fell to the ground. No marks were on the small Heart Stone. As Sailor Sun bent down to pick it up, the Heart Stone floated up into the air. Slowly drifting over to Jon's lifeless body. Sailor Sun took it in her hand and placed it over her brother's chest. The Heart Stone slowly went into the boys chest. A small moan came from Jon, he moved around in Sailor Sun's arms, his eyes slowly flickered open. He looked up at Sailor Sun and smiled. "Tha . . . thank-you Sailor Sun." The little boy sat up slowly. "Careful, you will need to rest, so go home and get some sleep." Sailor Sun smiled back at the little boy with love in her eyes. "Whatever you say Sailor Sun." The little boy smiled meekly. "I have to go now, and if you're ever in any trouble then be sure to give me a shout and I'll be there." Sailor Sun rose to her feet, with Jon still in her arms, she set the small boy on the ground, the teachers and students were starting to come out of the school. Sailor Sun turned to Jon's teacher. "Make sure he gets home okay and gets lots of rest, because he has had an exciting day today." Sailor Sun smiled at Jon again before turning and disappearing into the bushes. Glancing around to make sure no one could see she de-transformed, picked up her shoulder bag and walked out onto the street. "Now maybe I can get to school for lunch." Jessica sighed deeply. * * * * * As Jessica rounded the last corner she came to the front of her school, walking down one of the many gravel paths she reached up for the front door handle, but the door was opened from the inside. "Oh hi Jessica." Alissa greeted in her soft Scottish accent, a smile across her face. "I thought you were not coming today, but it really doesn't matter weather you did or did not because we are all being sent home." She said, her smile widening. "Home?!" Jessica gasped. "But I just got here." She exclaimed as she dropped her shoulder bag to the cement stairs. "What? Disappointed about going home?" Alissa asked with shock in her voice. "No . . . no it's not that, it's just that I had to walk all the way here!" Jessica said with a deep sigh. "And why are we being sent home?" She asked looking up at her blonde friend. "Oh yeah there was another attack, this time at a elementary school, but Sailor Sun was there to save the day again!" Alissa said her voice full of excitement. "A little boy was attacked. So they decided to send us all home." "A . . . another attack, at the elementary school." Jessica tried to sound interested, which was a hard task because she already knew the story. "Who would attack an elementary school?" "I don't know but whoever the sleaze ball was they got burnt to a crisp I heard!" Alissa said as she stepped out of the school, other students had begun to close their lockers, all of them were talking about the attack. "Oh, and you fencing has been canceled, it will be on tomorrow instead." Alissa said as she situated her book bag. "Canceled? Well that sucks." Jessica said with the tone of disappointment in her voice. "Well come on we don't want to miss the bus." Alissa grabbed Jessica's arm and pulled her away from the oncoming crowd. Jessica just managing to grab her shoulder bag with her fingertips continued to be dragged off by Alissa. "Yeah I really don't feel like walking all the way home." Jessica said as she caught up to her friend so she was no longer being dragged almost to the point of falling over.
