Career Highlights: Former World Wrestling Federation Champion, Tag Team Champion (4)

No superstar in history has made more of an immediate impact than Kane. On October 5, 1997, the world met Kane, as the seven-foot monster tore off the door to "Hell in the Cell" in order to get to his brother, the Undertaker. The siblings later fought in the first-ever Inferno Match!

Less than one year after he arrived, Kane became the World Wrestling Federation Champion by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring. Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster proved he could live up to all expectations.

Since then, Kane has been a Tag Team Champion on three occasions. Once a man of no emotion, Kane has somewhat broken out of his shell. However, the 7-footer still remains a monster in the ring.

My opinion: I love the (old) character Kane. His mask simply rules. I saw the match against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania XIV and he made such an impact. I don't like that Kane is more "human" now ,but I think he wouldn't survived for long as the silent mystery. I just believe that the darkness isn't really there anymore. I still am on the edge of my seat when I read something about him on wwf.com ,inmagen if we could see the show for real....

The Comic ,I really don't know very much about him for I only have the first two of the series ,in wich he only appears in one or two panels. What I do know I found on theundertaker.net.

The younger brother of the Undertaker, Kane is an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

Introduced by Paul Bearer on October 5, 1997, the seven-foot monster has been a constant thorn in the side of the Undertaker. But Bearer turned his back on Kane, and he has been left to fend for himself with no to teach him right from wrong.

Very little is known of Kane's origin, other than he is the Undertaker's blood brother and the two grew up together. Their childhood innocence ended when Kane suffered severe facial burns in a horrific accident that somehow involved the Undertaker - whether or not this accident resulted in the young Undertaker being sent to Stygian realm is unknown.

Scertain affinity for fire, using it as his own weapon - a move which suggests ince the accident, Kane has held a he is either unhealthily transfixed by the flames or that his affinity stems from time spent in a fire realm of Hell where his soul was endlessly tormented. Sometime after the accident, Kane lost his mind.

At some time in the past, Kane was institutionalized in an earthly asylum, but whether or not this gives him sympathy for the WWF's resident lunatic, Mankind, has yet to be determined. Something he does share with Mankind is his tendency to be a complete unknown in battle. While Kane may begin a battle on one side, where he finishes it is his own business.

Apparently, Kane has access to the same realms as his brother, and has been spotted in Stygian, as well as in the squared circle of the wrestling ring, where he will occasionally battle or aid his brother. As Kane does not speak, one can only guess at his ultimate goal, whether to serve in Stygian at the side of his brother or make sure no one else defeats the Undertaker so he alone can utterly destroy his brother and take the reigns of Stygian for himself. One thing is for sure - of all the opponents the Undertaker faces, Kane is the only one who ever causes him to feel anything close to fear.

As with all things, time will reveal more about the final destiny of the two brothers.
