A squishie is an envelope filled with fabric. The 25 fabric charms plus 1 signature square inside make the envelope feel nice and 'squishie'. Here is a sample fabric packet from inside a Y2K squishie. It contains 25 different 2.5" squares plus 1 siggie (signature square). A minimum of 80 packets such as this one were exchanged for each and every quilt in the Y2K Quilt Exhibit.
(NOTE: In our actual display, there is a complete set of Y2K squares plus siggy in a baggie. It is attached to the sheet below the above paragraph. Look for a photo of a display squishie to be posted here after Festival.)
