Springvale Wildlife

There is a fresh water spring near Springvale Homestead. It is radioactive because the water bubbles through radon gas as it goes through the rocks. There are fish in the pond including some red tailed natives. Sulfur crested cockatoos were screeching overhead and I found these two birds in a tree on the river bank. There were butterflies galore, especially on the mauve bouganvillea around the homestead.
