We've had Zeke for a couple years now. I originally got him because I had wanted a cameleon, but they were too expensive so my mom said I could get an iguana. What my mom did not know, however, was that the cute six inch lizard would grow in just a couple years to be over four feet long and extremely vicious. Zeke isn't what you'd call a "people person" and although iguana's are supposed to be docile vegitarians, he'd gladly rip your arm off and swallow it whole.
When Zeke was still young (and we could pick him up with
one hand) he suddenly stopped eating. At that point in time my mom
and I took to force feeding him. I suppose this is what made him
so mean. Although we were only trying to help him, I guess he doesnt
understand that and all he remembers is that we forced stuff in his mouth
over and over each day. I cant think of any other reason that he'd
be so mean... there's been nothing to make him that way. But oh well,
maybe he just wasnt meant to be a house lizard.
