I know I've found my Eden - it's my computer room
Except for my old "Tranny" it's as silent as a tomb
I find I can't get back to sleep so I get on ICQ
And talk for hours and hours to friends both old and new.

I know I've found my Eden when at night I lie in bed
And music, stories, poetry start "gelling" in my head
And whilst I mull things over I curl up and fall asleep
And forget those masterpieces - they're for my dreams to keep

I know I've found my Eden when I close my own front door
When I watch a favourite video, lying sprawled across the floor
When my grandkids say "I love you, Nan" with hugs and a big kiss
Oh, these moments I do treasurethey're just paradise ...pure bliss!

I know I've found my Eden, but Adam's not been found
So I went and bought some apples just in case he comes around
I don't quite like the look of themoh damn, I just can't win
Perhaps its safer, with my luck, to get them in a tin!!

I know I've found my Eden in my garden and my home
Though it's not a bed of roses to know that you're alone
Yet, I'm sure that someone's out there who'll love me just the same
And care enough, and love enough, to share with me, his name.
