When you wish upon a Star
It makes a difference who you are.
It takes a lifetime to retrieve
The trust you've lost, and to believe
You're not alone and have the right
To walk out safely in the night,
Enjoy protection in your home;
Expect those guilty to atone.
Our World will be a better place
When this Evil leaves the Human Race.

But there are those who seldom take,
Who don't leave chaos in their wake.
They love and care and where they can
Reach out and help their Fellow Man.
Such ones I know both far and wide.
I'm grateful that they're on my side.
