Non-fiction account #1 as told by Nikkili... First of all, let me wish you all an excellent Samhain night my story is true When I was young I spent my summers at my grandmothers home It was located in a small town My mother and I took a room that was usually occupied by my aunt and uncle it was at the front of the house and next to it was a small front porch I woke one morning earlier than my mother and looked over to see someone in the room it appeared to be my uncle he had on a straw hat like he always did, and was tying his shoes sitting in a small upholstered chair I smiled, because I liked my uncle he took me fishing, and boating, and we had a lot of fun together I greeted him and waited for him to look up he didn't look just kept on tying his shoes then I realized, that it wasn't my uncle at all this man was a stranger, and I became afraid I turned to my mother and woke her when we turned to look at the corner there was nothing there no man no chair no shoes either just an empty corner I started to cry, but my mother told me I was just dreaming from that day on, though I wouldn't sleep in that room I slept on a sofa in the living room I gradually forgot as I grew up and my summers there became less frequent then one night I was talking to my aunt and we got to talking about my grandmother's house she said that the house had undergone many changes over the years for some reason, I mentioned the front room and told her of my dream I never forgot it she looked at me funny and said you know..... that room was originally part of the front porch and your grandfather would get up in the morning in the summer and go out on the porch to put on his shoes so he woudn't wake your grandmother When she saw that I was startled she went and got the family album and showed me a picture of my grandfather my uncle fred bore an amazing resemblance to him even down to the fact that he wore a straw hat similar so... I suppose that I did meet my grandfather after all despite the fact that he died before I was born. end of story, and it's all true
