Dreams

When you sleep you dream, well then what are those dreams people say they have in life (or for life)? There are obviously at least two meanings for the word "dreams." There are the type of dreams that you have during reality (i guess you could call it that, reality i mean). These dreams are dreams in which you find appealing, they are things that you wish you could do or that you wish would happen to you, etc. These dreams are most closely related to fantasies i guess. Usually, it seems, that these types of dreams (i'll refer to them as "waking dreams") do not have a whole lot to do with the dreams you have while you're sleeping ("sleeping dreams"), if anything at all. For example, "waking dreams" may consist of something such as wanting and/or wishing to be a famous actor or singer or something. Although, in your "sleeping dreams" you may see yourself as a famous actor (or whatever it is that you may wish to be) there is almost always at least one twist to a "sleeping dream". "Waking dreams" for the most part consist of something actual, something real (possible); while " sleeping dreams" usually are filled with lost of abstract and "impossible" things. Have you ever heard something like, "i've always dreamed of being a movie star" and "i always dreamt i could fly (or wish i could"? Now, obviously the first one sounds more like a "waking dream" and the second a "sleeping dream" right? Ask yourself what your dreams are, both waking and sleeping. After you know your answers to that, ask yourself which one you like more and prefer. Now, which would you rather go for? I know it seems that "sleeping dreams" aren't something you could really do or accomplish, but just think about what most "sleeping dreams" are (if not all of them). Dreams (from what i've gathered) are your mind at play, so to speak. There are obviously times while dreaming that aren't fun and games, but that is just when your mind is trying to tell you something you either don't realize or don't want to face. Dreams seem to (mostly) consist of your inner most desires, your true instincts and desires. Listen to your dreams if you wish to know more about yourself. Actually, if y ou want to hear the slight technicallity to dreams, they are pretty much your subconscience coming out; waking up so to speak. Well, your subconscience picks up i guess everything, especially everything the conscience mind doesn't. I went off my main point a little but just to prove another point. Think once again about this, you have two types of dreams right; "waking dreams" and "sleeping dreams". Why is it that you (someone) would follow "waking dreams" over sleeping ones? The way i see it, since "sleeping dreams" tell your inner most desires, why not follow them? They may seem abstract ("sleeping dreams") but not all of them are. Because of this, it seems that you may even be able to follow both waking and sleeping dreams. Do this by, listen to your "sleeping dreams" and find out what you really want; what your
