Don's evidence against the existence of omniscient beings

This doesn't look to be a long document, So I'll start with a little American English Haiku that I wrote while trying to get to sleep last night. If anyone cares, and I doubt anyone does, this is 9/8/98 Eastern and I haven't updated for about 2 months.

Haiku#1

Life's tragic humor

The heroes are never right

And I always am.

And now on with the show. It seems to me that an omniscient being couldn't exist, because they couln't know the future. They couldn't know the future because it is as yet unformed. Now maybe if a being controlled the future, it would know the future. two things are wrong with that argument. One being that certain things, such as a blind die toss by a baby, are random. The second one is that in exerting control over an event, the being would be in existance during the time of that event. Therefore, it would not be controlling the future, but the present. Certainly to US it is the future, but to people 5 years ago, me lifting a pencil would be controlling the furure.

Sidenote: This is why I say that I am an agnostic/athiest, Because it depends on your definition of "god." If your definition includes omniscience, I am an Athiest. If not, I'm a mere agnostic (which some consider worse).
