Hello! This page is going to be about the anime named "Slayers." Basically Slayers has three series. They are Slayers, Slayers Next, and Slayers Try. These are from the TV series. There are also OVA's and movies (i think), but I don't really know about them. Well on with the intro!
These few lines are quite interesting, ne? Anyway, if you didn't know, those lines are from Slayers the tv series. They have been recited more than once by the heroine of the story, Lina Inverse. She is also known as the Bandit Killer and *looks around nervously. sees no one* Dragon Spooker. Dragon Spooker is short for Dragons Step Past Out Of Clear Revoltions (I know that the letters don't match, but I'm only going by my video tape, okay?). Anyway, Lina is a very powerful and effective sorceress. A spin off of Robin Hood, Lina steals from the rich/bandits and gives to HERSELF! Okay, so she's not perfect. (Lina: But bandits are bad guys and bad guys have no rights! ChibiZ: Huh? When did you come in?) And after one of these raids on a bandit gang and making off with their treasure, named Dragon Fangs, Lina finds herself being followed by some of the gangs members. Oh no! Our heroine is in trouble!
Never fear! Gourry is here! The sword-wielding, but-not-so-smart mercenary, Gourry saves Lina (though she didn't need the help). Well it's the start of a new adventure for Lina! Well, was that a helpful intro?
Personally, I love this series. It's funny and it's just has a great plot with things that you might not expect. I don't wanna give away the spoilers! :) So stay tuned!
