Insanity Vs. Sanity
What is insanity? What if the insane were really the sane? The only reason the so-called “insane” are locked away behind padded cells are because of us, the “sane”? We have the title of sane because we are the majority, and they are the minority. However if the roles were switched and we were the minority would we be the ones locked away? The answer is yes, we would be. Today no one ever stops to think; maybe the insane are the enlightened ones, maybe they are gods in the flesh, or maybe their intellect is far to complex for the average human to understand. For example the bible states that Jesus will one day walk the earth once again. Well because of modern day society and their beliefs, this so called Jesus could very well be on earth right now, only he's locked up somewhere in an asylum because of him claims. If you could look inside the mind of an “other than normal” person, you may see all the fruits of life and all the spoils of war, you may find the answer to cancer, or maybe that person has a miraculous gift of healing by touch, but these things are considered “non-normal”, and the claims that these people make get them a one way ticket to the funny house. How many times have you seen a man on the streets mumbling to him self? Perhaps he has some-sort of connection to god? How many times have you seen a bum screaming outrageous prophecies of war and famine? If you read the news sometimes those claims are correct. Today people don't think they just act out of compulsion. What if the tables were turned? Would you be the one who can see the future or would you be the reincarnation of a long lost god? More than likely, you'd be the one behind the bars in a filth-ridden room with walls made of couch cushions.
