My bio
My name's Jessica. Most of my friends call me Jess. I'm a Roman Catholic teen that lives in western Kentucky with both my parents and my younger sister. I'm a home-schooled, high school student that is enrolled in Seton Home Study School. I'm 5'6", 130 pounds, slightly muscular, dark brown hair with light brown highlights and brown eyes. I'm pretty much my own person. What other people are doing, saying, and wearing doesn't influence me all that much. I wear what I'm most comfortable in and what I like, which would usually be baggy jeans and a t-shirt. I'm not big on jewelery either. I just wear my watch and a ring which was given to me by my grandmother.
My interests include listening to music; playing the guitar; exercising daily, playing softball, and swimming; reading sci-fi and mystery novels; and doing lots of talking (hehe). My great love is my writing, though. It's what I spend most of my time doing. My writing consists of short stories and poetry. I'm much more into my poetry than the short stories, however. I can better express myself through poetry. Writing, to me, is something that is so important. It allows you to express yourself completely and freely.
As far as tv goes, my fave tv shows would hafta be "The X-Files", "Dawson's Creek", and "General Hospital". That's basically all I watch on tv except for CNN. I listen to music a lot. I love lots of different kinds of music. I hate country music, though. Ok, not entirely. There's one country singer I really like (Bryan White), and that's cuz I met him in person once. I like mainly alternative (Garbage, Everclear, Days of the New, Fiona Apple, Weezer, Bush), R&B/hip-hop/rap (Mya, Aaliyah, Mase), and some pop/rock (Natalie Imbruglia, BackStreet Boys and stuff like that).
Right now, I'm working with other teens at a local newspaper on the teen page. That's something I'm really enjoying having a part in.
