As you can see, my ranting has subsided somewhat since the Christmas break. That's not to say there isn't a lot going on. I have rant ideas about people's perception of the "Education Lottery" here in the great state of South Carolina as well as their misguided perceptions of the Drug War. I got these ideas from "man on the street" interviews I did as part of a group from my Teleproduction class at York Tech. Those three weeks at Winthrowup University in Rock Hill taught me two things: 1.) stupid people abound. They're everywhere. And they're getting dumber with every "Scary Movie" sequel, and 2.) smart people are everywhere. These people look like stupid people. They may even wear the same type of clothes and look stoned, too. But ask them a question about the issues of legalizing drugs, and they will show a remarkable insight. They'll see the issues under the issues and the issues under those issues. It gives me hope that someday, I'll be able to tell the stupid people from the smart people without meeting them on the road first.
I was also wanting to write a rant on Johnie Ashcroft, head of our Injustice Department. I think our esteemed Attorney General, Mr. John Asscrotch, is a complete fucking moron. I've been wanting to rip the scab off the one for a long time. Also, I believe W. has a God complex. I'm actually of two minds on that. I'm not sure if the prez thinks he's God or if it's his loyal sheep who think he's God.
See, in my mind, President Bush did a lot of things right after 9/11. Either that or I was so blind with patriotism that I couldn't see the truth. Because nothing has really changed with the man since he was elected. Maybe there is more to him than some of us thought. But the truth of the matter is that he's still the same smirking dickweed he's always been. This isn't his presidency as much as it is microwaved left-overs from his fathers term. The only thing different is that the vice-president doesn't have shit for brains this time.
So, as you can see, there is a lot stewing in this mind of mine. I just don't have the time to write it. Between school, the kids, getting my diabetes-induced necessary sleep out of the way as well as my need to ride by every railyard within thirty miles as much as possible, I just don't have a lot of free time.
Sorry. Check back with me on spring break.
